I feel like lights get tracked way to easily, its not fun playing a fast tank that cant use its mobility at all when any person can just shoot at you and completely stop your movement even though they most likely arent even trying to do it.

I find it extremely frustrating to play scouts now, used to love it since they used to have atleast some use on the battlefield.

Unless you are on 1 of the open field maps now they are complete trash imo.

Thr tracks are weak for a reason, they haven't changed them recently, ever i think

Then play them differently. You can have great fun if you can survive until late game. still scout but be intelligent in your scouting as you probably know where the enemy tanks will go at the start after 20k games.

What? Those maps have way more tree line cover now vs before. So passive spotting is 10x easier as you can even mask your approach. Unless you are one of those that active spot sharing assist XP with 3 other lights in the middle of Prokhorovka, where even the HT is stealing our assist when he pokes up. Then even 2x the track HP won't help.

Just point the gun towards the sky, keep the gun line above the ridge line and the tracks below it if you have to active spot. If you spot in the open, even having tracks still gets you killed. As if they make it harder to counter lights doing that even… well.

Lights are a lot more frequent in games than they use to be at mid tiers so people may be getting use to dealing with them, HE is not good for lights tracks. If your getting tracked a lot I assume ur side on to the shooter... u need to work out ur movements better pehaps? As previous poster mentioned lights early on play cautiously and later end game help mop up.

That's why I carry large repair kits on all my lights. I mapped a button on my mouse as the 5 key, so I can quickly repair and get to safety, even if they knock both my tracks and engine out, which tends to happen VERY often.

Yeah sure, 'cause a swerving 70 km/h light tank dodging most player's shells really needs more help not being punished for reckless behaviour. You're not an Agent in the Matrix.

The T-10011001 LT is already a part of the Matrix, what are you talking about?

The matra of LTing is: Do not get hit, do not get hit, do not get, ...

No needs for buffs, but at your keyboard only.
