Lol, selling the T26E5 (Patriot) for HT weekend? That tank isnt even a proper HT; its a Medium with a HT designation...

Also too bad no discount on Tier 8+ since I have the T32 waiting to be bought. Guess it'll have to wait a little longer and at least I can get the KV-3 this weekend.

I love how the STANDARD T26E5 package is coloured in red while ULTIMATE and SUPREME are coloured to emulate silver and gold respectively.:harp:

And a good thing too, there is a reason so many people have an issue with it and the trend it's a sign of.

=====

Now, on topic, I can really recommend the VK4503. It's a heavy tank that is properly balanced compared to things like the Defender as it has a great gun with epic gun handling and relatively good mobility, yet it's armor is only good for side scraping. So in other words it has 2 our of 3 of the holy trinity for balancing (Gun, mobility, armor).

Basically it's a tier 7 heavy with similar gun handling to tier 9/10 mediums and let's not forget it looks sexy as all hell!

Also, it has a credit modifier which is tier 8 so it means it makes tier 8 premium tank credits on tier 7.

Why no 15% discount on HT's T8 - TX?     This is lame doing it only on T5 (50%) + T6-7 (30%)

Think I can copy this for another 3 weeks in a row...

2 - 4 June: Heavy Tanks
9 - 11 June: Medium Tanks --> Why no 15% discount on MT's T8 - TX?     This is lame doing it only on T5 (50%) + T6-7 (30%)
16 - 18 June: Tank Destroyers --> Why no 15% discount on TD's T8 - TX?     This is lame doing it only on T5 (50%) + T6-7 (30%)
23 - 25 June: Light Tanks --> Why no 15% discount on LT's T8 - TX?     This is lame doing it only on T5 (50%) + T6-7 (30%)

Oh well maybe somebody at WG read's this and thinks.....      (I stopped at "thinks" for a reason) ;-)

i heard the therm properly balanced when it was used on the mauerbrecher because it's weaker in comparison to vk 100 by having it's giant weakpoints weaker! balanced means weak so no good!

Cobra 6

Cobra,

Generally my main reason for acquiring a premium tank is for crew training purposes. I already own the Tiger 131 which I use as my German HT crew trainer. Is the VK worth adding as a second German HT premium, or stick with the Tiger?

Thx,

Dutch

So Patriot for heavies.

Then Lorraine 40t for mediums.

Scorpion of course for TDs.

And finally T92 for light tanks.

Is there a difference between the Patriot and the normal skinned version in terms of performance? Looked at tanks.gg and they look identical.

But what about camo - is that (garish) paint job basically a free permanent camo that you don’t get with the normal version? So small credit/gold gain over the non-skinned version if you don’t mind looking like a*edited* on the battlefield.

This being said - my initial stance was give WG the benefit of the doubt on the whole PMM thing in the hope they would see sense, and not implement. However, with the appalling lack of feedback to such a strong back-lash, I am now thinking of keeping #walletclosed until they clarify their final position.

Nope because all the pro players moaned, and they are the ones who usually have them, the Defender is  just a wet dream now, in fact it isn't even that, so sorry you will have to accept that it ain't ever coming back, having other OP in the game though is ok, just we are not allowed this one.

Cobra 6

It's good when you are top tier, but in 3/5/7MM abomination it's always bottom tier and then it's useless.

     Yes,thats the path you chose ,you sell same tanks 150 from 355 days/year. Usseles collectors gem like M4 (4 variants) and promotions for expired tier 8 heavys like T34,Lowe and IS6.

Where is Centurion MK.5 ? Or you prepare a "special" and "cheap" bundle for EU server?

Performance wise its exactly the same tank.

The FREEDOM paint job is indeed a free permanent camo (which you cant turn off!) and gives a camo bonus. You'd have to buy & apply camo to the unskinned one to get the same values.

Spot on, while Cobra's recommendation looks good, thats the only good thing about it, and for me it is a bit tall so a big target. I never take mine out and when I do everything just pens it, balanced certainly does mean weak,. talking of crap weak tanks, at tier 7, may main go to tanks are the Black Prince, the A45 and the AT15a.

Except the VK is not weaker compared to it's peers?

Tiger P: Better armour, more HP

Tiger I: More HP, Better DPM

VK: More mobile than the other two, Godlike gun handling, slightly better armoured hull compared to the Tiger I, Turret can be trollish

What about that KV-122? Good tenk? The VK might look more sexy, but I actually need a good crew trainer for my 600 rashan HT crews. Apart from that, it's a lot cheaper than the German.

edit: from what's on the paper, it doesn't look so tempting at all. The old KV1S but one tier up, mmmh...
