Lakeville.......

If your team has a lot of less able players and they all go valley, I think a quick swim in the lake is the easiest solution.....

Happens nearly every time I play this map, and I have to say it's [edited]frustrating

That's a frustrating team approaching the map incorrectly, a common fault but not a problem with the map. The most frustrating map has got to be Abbey - a collection of lanes running from one cap to the other with few opportunities to flex and those only in specific positions. My heart always sinks a little when I see that map.

Well, there's always the hope that the enemy barrels out of the city one by one and you can defend from the base and the middle road otherwise it's usually GG. This is one of the maps that people refuse to play right, same as Overlord.

You forgot Province, a map so bad it makes players suicide themselves rather than play the battle, I am seeing this more and more in game now.

Ensk.

If you're not in a HT or Assault Gun, you're useless.

When your slow heavies insist on driving through swamps, up hill, open ground... Anywhere but towns...

Then indeed, the games gone down the pan

I expect to get open maps in my 20kph heavies +city maps in my 20mm armour tanks.

That way wg never "disappoints" me, as I'm expecting it.

(key the mission for 3x trackings reqd +then 0x trackings are done...

Using wgs cheats against themselves)

Province, I've not yet got from one side of the valley to the other. It's a horrible camping map and that is in no way criticising the teams, it seems to be the perfect tactic, defend your own side well and you've won.

It isn't just Lakeville this happens on.  There seems to have been a big increase in lemming games.

Malinovka, Prokorovka or however you spell it, Steppes, Overlord, all of them.  Yesterday there were loads and all went down the crapper.

Even when you warn them of getting flanked it gets ignored and you end up getting killed trying to cover the other side on your own or with just one other player..  The number of times the crucial high ground gets ignored is incredible, even with higher tier games.

I like Lakeville but it is usually wrecked by the city being ignored and by the amount of arty hitting the few approach lines.

Ensk is crap but they kept that and got rid of The Swamp which was much better.

I even took the encounter games out because of the number of teams that didn't grasp what it meant and tried to go all around the map first in a lemming rush.

You get stuck with these teams in a Tier 6 tank it costs a fortune in credits.
