I just played Maus on Westfield. WG put me on the south next to my base, with a Type 5. Of course, till I managed to climb the hil to be usefull , all HTs in my team were killed. Type 5 also it was useless. What was the reason to put the slowest 2 HTs in WOT down there?! Couldn t get it.

You must have been in a team with a lot of heavies so all the heavy spots on top of the hill were taken.  I don't think teh game differentiates between fast and slow heavies as far as spawn points go.

But did you need to climb the hill?

This map must be removed. There is nothing to do with the tank destroyer here.

WG can you fix respawn spot for super heavy TD? Like the T110E3 and the T95 getting down there with mediums/lights.. It's really annoying when you must roll up into hills. You know how they are slow, so could you check that issue? Just had battle today, while rolling up.

Map is also fucked up by design of northern area. If west team have any clue they will win area 10/10. Simply because west team have multiple hull down locations, while east team will get concentrated in that one dip and be shot from multiple angles.

Of course like always its about what tanks each team are given and muddies the water down even further by their RNG.

The main problem is that the mediums and lights most of the games have no impact on the outcome of the battle. Usually mediums are camping and whoever wins the heavy side then goes to feast on mediums and wins. That is not the case if mediums play agressively but of course that being possible depends on where TD's choose to go. Nevertheless I prefer to be medium at this map, provided that I have a good camo crew and also the medium side will receive less attention from the arty, which is nice. As a heavy, the map is meh. Arty will shoot you, TD's will prevent you from poking but if you have a good turret then you can go hull down. Map's not that bad.
