I probably do it *edited*, sometimes more on a bad day (1 in 30 or 20 after a bad losing streak). For example, I just had a match in Caernarvon, tier 8, the match was a tier X match, I took a hit 30 seconds in that wiped half my HP, knocked out a gunner and damaged my ammo rack so I took a look at XVM and just called it. Of course it was right because the results afterwards showed my team just got rolled.

I really don't understand the whole E-HONOUR thing on the forum, if the match is a 98% loss I will just drown myself or desert, I don't do it to spite anyone, I do it because my time is (kinda) valuable and it's just a videogame, I don't owe the people who I play this game with anything so what's the problem with ritualistic tank suicide or deserting?

Never.

Never give up, always go down kicking and screaming - take as many as I can with me.

Also never. Did you see anyone deserting during a football match just because he plays first with the last of the league? Also losses is experience and match. Game ( same like life ) is not just a win.

Maybe they'd desert if they had to play 20,000 matches and their teams were random *edited*each time, I mean picture it, you train for your soccer match and you get out on the field and the whistle blows, your star striker stands there immobile staring into space, two of your defenders are in wheelchairs and your left winger has cerebral palsy, then your goalie just keeps mashing his map at random locations with no indication of what he wants. I mean, I'd desert that soccer match.

Another reason to not use it, if it affects you that badly. Even more so if the game turned out to be close, and that one gun they lost instantly could have been the little difference.

Having one gun down that went idle. I suspect it went even faster.

So no... I stick to it, even if I lose half my HP and modules in the first 30 seconds. Considering what tank you have, it's still a superb 2nd line tank with 3K dpm. Even in a tier X match. As it's better to get some XP, then no XP. Only making the grinds longer than needed. That and.. I won a few sub 30% Win chance games when I used XVM. So it's not a 100% given is it? As there is still a few numbers left on that 30. Just as easy as you can give up going by what xvm tells you. The enemy team can get over eager with what their XVM tells them and yolo an "easy" kill hard. And think the tomato will bounce, and he ammo racks him on the first hit, or the 4 hidden TD's behind him makes short work of him. You never know.

And you know what they say...

Actually I lied.

I intentionally deserted once, testing to see if I might keep my x5 bonus after a *edited*game which we had already won.

It did not work though. :(

So what you're saying is you took your tank a stupid way at the start of a game, got hit for doing so and proceeded to throw your toys out of the pram and just quit rather than actually try to contribute anything to the game?
Personally i'd rather make the enemy team work for my hp even if it's 1vs15 and 8's seeing 10s is basically the norm so get used to it.

Seen too much kinky, *edited*up 1v1 at the end to not try to survive at all cost. If you want to quit, just go back to your base instead and wait out.

It may indeed end up in an awkward situation when that +1 shot from you can make the difference.

I did it once in my ~21k games, though we were winning and I had done a bunch of damage in my T57, but I was scheduled for cw so I had to quit early, that taught me not to press battle with 12 minutes left until cw starts ^^ (and we won that t57 game, I was top damage but like bottom exp because I left early).

Other than that, I never give up! You can always squeeze out at least one more shot of damage or at least deny someone some damage in hopeless situations.

only when im bottom tier in a slow heavy on prokhorovka with 3 arties, i just drive through middle to spot enemies for my team on hill and then back to garage, usually i dont last there more than 1 min though :D| but i really dont see a point of wasting 10-15m of my time in games that end up as a draw  more often than not. But i never push the esc button to quit the battle.

That works two ways.

You don't owe them your time, they don't owe you learning to play.

Please keep deserting, there's 15 chances you will be on the enemy team and at most 14 that you will be on mine.

I've only deserted once where I drove off a ledge in a Hellcat and got myself flipped in a location where enemies couldn't shoot me, and where allies couldn't help me

I guess in life you are either a cry-baby or you aren't a cry-baby. But if you are a cry-baby I think it's better to stomp your feet in private than for all to see during a public game.

You're a EDIT then.

I've had some of my best games after getting my tank raped in first few seconds of the game.

I've deserted once in 8200 games, that was because of connection issues.

Never. Ever. (Except when I got disconnected once from server due to router problems) Go down swinging. Even if I just land one shot and get penned by 6 in return. Or if I am in a fast enough tank go yolo suicide rush and ruin one enemy players game by taking him out that way. Heck, even in my arty I stay and fight when its 1 vs 10. One day hell WILL freeze over, pigs WILL fly, the Cleveland Browns WILL win the Superbowl, and I well get a Kolabonov's medal. All because I did not desert / suicide.

If you like deserting so much, why not just do yourself and everyone a favour and uninstall the game...?
