Hey all

 

Has anyone else been over charged buying gold?

 

I recently bought gold via phone call, 3 euro for 610 gold. I did 3 payments in April. When  got my bill only 2 charges were on my bill (one was on May's bill), and they were for both 4 euro. I contacted support they said to send the bill and they would most definitely fix it. I told them about May's bill they said to wait till I had both bills and send them it together.

 

I (stupidly) believed them and made more calls in May thinking WG would sort it out anyway. Now I sent them the bills they first reply saying its the paying providers problem. I had already contacted them before contacting WG and they said its WG fault. I told WG this and now they are saying its my  phone providers fault!! 

 

WG site shows 3 euro for 610 gold. then it says a one and a half minute call at two euro a minute.When you call the number it keeps you on the line for two minutes before giving the code for the gold.

 

So either way, its false advertising or the mopay provider is over charging and WG doesnt actually give a crap that me and prolly many other are being ripped off! 

 

Gonna contact my local consumers protection service and see whats what.

Are you sure you haven't been charged an 'administration' fee by the phone or credit card company?

May Vary as in u stay on the phone a few seconds longer, maybe to hear the code a 2nd time, but not KEEP you on the phone for 30 seconds extra each time?

 

There's no admin charges. my phone company hasn't charged me anything the payment service just kept me on the phone for 2 minutes instead of one and a half... 

 

WG has now replied they "misunderstood" the situation and will look in to it...

No, he is not. And that is exactly what happened.
