I normally have something sweet following the main meal of the day.  But not always.

thank you finally the subject makes sense.

Sundays only and that's usually some posh shortbread mid afternoon rather than after lunch. occasionally dinner parties too but we prefer alcohol mostly

Whenever there is treacle sponge and custard on the menu.

Or spotted [edited].

[edit]What the flip... I'll just leave it like that, I'm sure 80% of you can figure out it's a pudding made with suet and dried fruit.

My head says not often enough but my waist line hints at too often.

I don't normally dessert as such except on special occasion, I tend snack more. I guess dessertion isn't my cup of tea which actually is something that I have instead of a proper dessert, a nice cup of sencha following the main meal of the day.

Hardly ever :(
I've had done chocolate cake in the fridge for a week and a half now, I'm just not eating it for some reason.

Ice cream is always a winner on hot days but cake is also good. With ice cream.

My desserts are typically liquid, made from grain, are several years old, and are most of the time from Scotland.

Just raisins and custard?

A little odd, but i wouldn't say no.

Ever tried filling a glass with chocolate raisins then filling the empty space with double cream?

Eat with a spoon.

Heavenly but not good for you.

I've taken to sultanas and banana on my cereal in the mornings though.

Trying to be more healthy so more likely to finish a meal with some fruit these days.

Sounds like the kind of thing we would have had when I was a kid.

Along with sugar sandwiches.  Yes, two slices of bread, well buttered, sugar on one, put them together.

Yes.

You can buy a brand of ready-shredded suet called "Atora". The name is odd; an anagram of "aorta".

Still, these things are quite healthy enough, like most other things, unless overindulged in.

A dessert could be anything from a creme broulet to a handfull of refresher squashies, but it's law here!
