Hi guys!

I installed WoT after I took a brake for the game of 1 year. I installed the game correctly, I also installed Game Center and when every update was done, I tried to play the game. But pressing play button won't launch the game. A WoT window do appear but goes away in 1 second. I tried everything I found on the net but the game still, won't start.

Can someone help, please?

You say you tried everything you could find online, what exactly did you try?

1. Try to launch game in safe mode.

2. Try to launch game from game directory.

3. try to input game in GC again.

4. Try to "repair" your game from GC.

5. If nothing worked then try to reinstall game because maybe something gone wrong from all that updates.

I tried all this, also reinstalled two times... not working. I click Launch, a windows with WoT logo appears and then disappears, that's all...

@TsundereWaffle

I tried everything, every advice from the official website. Safe mode, with reset graphic option, from the game directory, run as admin, repar, imput game again, reinstall... :(

Just want to play the game again...

Try to disable AV and FW, or to add game to exclusions.

Open your hosts file and see if there is some WoT lines (WG)

Maybe your PC is just not good enough.

Go to your install directory.

Find the python.log file

Post the last 20 or so lines here.
It probably tells you what the problem is.

I managed to make it launch, I updated my video graphic card. But I face low fps and don't understand why. As I said, I player WoT before, from 2010 to 2016 and it worked well. Haven't play it for about 2 years and suddenly my laptop it's not good enough, I don't believe so, this are my info:

Processor: Intel i7-2630Qm @2 GHz

Ram: 4GB

Win 10

Enough HDD

Got DirectX12

Video card: nVidia GeForce GT 520mx 1GB

I know my video card it's weak but it work just fine some time ago...

Also it's not a net speed problem, I got 94.52 mbps speed connection.

Any thoughts? Thank you!

Yup, wanted to see if it's playable at least at the lowest level possible.

Too bad this new changes won't allow me to have the same game experience on the same machine :(

As I said, two years ago I had no problem with WoT...

Also In the game I run the lowest setting as possible but I am still stuck at 7 fps...

It's a completely new engine from when you last played so that's why it runs differently than before. There are a couple of mods available for lower spec pcs to help optimize the game which you can try but it's not a definite fix.

Do you play via wi-fi or lan? My friend had similar problem and wi-fi was the problem. Try via lan (cable).

Not entirely sure as i've not had to use it myself i've just seen others talking about it on the forums, i believe its called something like wot optimization tool but try a search on the mod site and i'm sure you'll find something.
