Due to the high volume of, 'Flounce Threads', just lately, I thought it a good idea to pop them all in the same thread.

If you feel a need to explain your reasons, beyond swear words please post here.

Flounces are too personal to be shared in one thread. And it would be like going to the theatre to see a compilation of all of Shakespeare's death scenes in one sitting, you'd probably make your next phone call to Exit. Better would be a 'spot the returning player thread', to encourage those poor souls defeated by the enduring lure of Wargaming and the quality game we call 'World of Tanks'.

OK, I admit, I had to Google the word so I understand now.

Thing is, this thread would pretty much make every other thread redundant.

I was hoping it was somehow etymologically related to floozies... I wouldn't mind an Official Floozy Thread.

I think it's when your team is rolled over stomped into the ground and you loose 0:15.

The word you are looking for is Trounce. Unless you diss everyone in chat, calling them noobs, then rage-quit. Then it's Flounce. Plus a few other things.

Generally, flouncing and rage-quitting are different.  Flouncing requires a huge drama-queen thread to make the announcement that you are leaving because of (insert specific entitlement here) and then seeing if anyone cares.  When you realise that no-one asks you to stay, you logout for a couple of hours 'to show them', and then sneak back in, unannounced, to continue as before.

Hope this helps/

Since most "flounces" do flounder, in as much as the flouncer/flouncee very often continues to engage with the game, it could be correct!
