Like the title says? I know it`s just a T54 in disguise, but still... Why russian MoE and not germans?

East-German MoE could very well be a russian star. After all, they absolutely had to be different from West-Germany. In fact, they so much had to be different on principle, they really messed up quite a few things that wouldn't have bothered anyone. :P

Same happens with the Panther M10, it gets American MOE,

the blackdog though, gets the normal German ones.

Communist 3stripes are red stars, for the East Germans at least.

I was happily surprised when I saw that, the same is true for the Panther/M10 (for other reasons), though a German Panther in reality, it has american white stars for marks of excellence.

Same reason the first road wheel is spaced differently, it's Russian. :)

GDR as a Warsaw Pact socialist country goes very well with non-Allied, non-ThirdReich MoEs. All good.

German MOE marks are crap anyway, you can barely see them in game so I prefer the stars.

The British/French barrel stripes are the best, then the stars, then other various graphics other nations have, then the German tiny stripes.

They should really make them better and more visible.

It looks like it's a bug since it shows the German stripes on MOE dialogue but stars on barrel.

Disagree. they are ok.

Only on the Leopard make them bigger. Actually the tiniest gun marks you can have in game due to barrel size looks kinda cool :-) working on the 9 stripes currently.

Well in fairness as it's supposed to be an undercover Panther it would be pretty stupid if they painted their own MOEs on it wouldn't it :P

Why doesn't it get the turret buff all the other Russian meds get? Because it's German...

Why does the M41 90mm get Russian stars on the '1945' camo paint? Well it must be an east germany M41...

Not a T-54 in disguise, it really was its own "thing".

As per the markings, hint:

Italian and Japanese tanks also get the Russian stars. The style is called 'Spoils of War' for a reason. Who would have guessed losing a war has its downsides?

Have a look on Pansy's mod page. He did some Sakura Flowers for the Japanese and Edelweiss for the Swiss Mutz.

Edit - Milkyman did the Mutz Edelweiss
