just saw this today, this would mean around 57-58 games per day, every day, for five years non stop. if he misses one day of playing he would have to play 100 battles the next day.  is this too much?

i joined on may 2014 and have 15k battles, and i feel that i spent lots of my time for that number of battles, 100k plus just sounds nuts to me.

what do you think about this?

what do you think? is there somebody here that also has 100k+ games in five years?

Shared account probably. Has too high of win rate for a bot.

I started August 2012  I think, have 48k games (with better stats than that guy :girl: ).

There were periods  I averaged 70 battles per day, which was too much.

I dropped for around 1 year to play warships, and now  I play at a cooler pace.

Maybe it is an internet cafe account, where multiple people could play. I mean, the stats are average for 105k battles, they are not abysmal to imply a bot.

Probably.

Maybe an internet cafe account that stays logged in for anyone to use.

It's immediately obvious it ain't a bot when you look at the average damage, too.

Shared account is a possibility... There's some dude who played Warplanes during this last event to earn gold, earning over 3.5 million personal points over two days... He took 1st place, 2nd place got just over 2 mil points. Very obviously a shared account.

I managed only 350k points by playing 3 hours a day... just to make the top 1000 for 350 gold.

isn't that sad? no wonder why there are so much bad players if lots of them share accounts for example in internet cafe. somebody joins, takes tier 10 because why not and does nothing, and you (his team mate) is pissed off by it and don't have a clue that maybe some random guy in a cafe is playing wot with tier 10 as his first battle ever :)

Maybe it's secretly a unicum who activates a botscript when he doesn't have time to play to grind xp and credits

Kinda depends on what you have going on in your life at the time.  Maybe they're unemployed or a student with plenty of time on their hands, or are housebound due to illness or injury.  Maybe they're antisocial & it's just better for everyone if they spend their time online where they can't really hurt anyone else.

I played a lot of games over 5 years, but not so much any more & that's mainly to do with how much free time I had then compared to now + the game just seems to get worse with every update so I'm less inclined to waste what time I do have on WoT than before.

WoT is certaily addictive, like many online games.  It also gives a false sense of achievement either through your personal record or WN8 if you're into that kind of thing.  This means that it can feel like you're not really wasting your time playing it, even if other people might think that you are.  If you are suffering from depression or just have bad things going on in your real life it can also make you more susceptible to this.  Being mocked on the forum is unlikely to help in this situation.

It could equally be that playing this number of games has had no effect on their real life whatsoever & they're able to fit in both.

As they say, never judge anyone till you've walked a mile in their shoes & we've not even seen this guys shoes.

If you look at stats on the broken vbAddict website you can easily find people who have played well over 40 million battles.

Well, there is a more known account with 211K games in 7 years and 2 months. And like most of the 100K+ accounts. I suspect they are shared accounts. Like net cafes etc. As he is on 24/7 playing.  And the few times I've seen him. He has done anything from carrying hard and reacting well, to being blind as a bat and show zero map awareness.

I imagine that there are plenty of players who are mentally and/or physically disabled, and who - quite reasonably in the restricted circumstances of their lives - spend most of their waking hours playing online games.

There are most certainly a large number of players with OCD, or other personality traits that result in the drive to churn through tens of thousands of near-identical game experiences, often in the same vehicle.

I'm not mocking anyone, it is rather fascinating to me because i cant imagine having that much time or nerves for that amount of battles in such "small" period of time, and i never saw anyone with 100k battles. All you said is true

It's a shared account. But I doubt that it's played by 4+ people, so it's still sad enough.

I have an average of 24,2 battles per day for the last 5 years. With an average of 5 min per game we talk about 2 hours. Hmm... doesn`t feel that much after all!
