*edit

Saw the same platoon before doing(nothing) the same thing.

Checked their movements.Their number of battles.

They can't just be newbies who are too bad in playing so according to WG there is no bot in this game but for God's sake what did I just witness in this match?

Yes there are bots.

No there are not as many as the playerbase likes to claim.

9/10 the 'bot' is just a very very bad player, there are lots of those.

I also don't think WG has ever said there are no bots in game, they generally do not comment on the subject.

Hmm. PPL is flooding forum with game crush messages today. Mby thats the reason. Game crushes on battle countdown and after clien restart you cant enter the battle. This bug was actual first few weeks after 1.0 relese.

Check forum..

Idle bots, yes. Or waypoint bots on tier 1 and 2 that can hide among all the bad there better. But these were not idle bots. And two of them did more then you even. As I suspect you focused all your efforts on getting them to "move" based on your and their team damage. As I suspect "bots" don't react like that.

They still moved more then most of your team. And some players are just more passive then bots. In this case it was more down to them not playing the way you wanted more so then an... actual.. bot.

As for what we called bots 6 years ago.. I've not seen since the idle auto system was added.

So what You suggest? Lets make acc, buy superpershing, buy bot and and stream on twitch with blurred player names and time delay and will see how quickly wg will detect?

Easiest way to identify a bot is to shoot him on purpose. If he points his gun at you or shoots back, he's not a bot - he's just a horrible player. If he doesn't seem to even be aware of being hit by a teammate, he is a bot.

Maybe you are not aware of what you have watched but I did not play at all.

But even if they are not bots as you say what can you call this?...Seriously asking..Because this is beyond my understanding..

I am not trying to make irony but just trying to understand because never seen such a thing before.

Some folks are bad. Mindbogglingly bad, that's all. I had players in their TX tanks park in front of my KV-4 gun, shooting me for 0 effect, while I was allowed to farm them all the way down to 0 HP, without them moving an inch.

That's not bot behaviour, that's some grade A dumb play.

You got to keep in mind, the really, really bad play is sadly not bots, they're players doing irrational things. Bots are many things, but you can rely on those to be at least consistent in what they do (depending on how sophisticated their programming is)

Most bad stats are simply that, bad players. Bots are not always easy to distinguish, but strange/repeated behaviour can be a hint. A rather clear one is the classic one that sits in the base, not moving, but rotating it's turret to shoot at enemies, but that one's a simple bot. More sofisticated ones can be harder to distinguish.

But bots are bad & should indeed be banned. it just won't do much in the rgand scale of things, as bad play eclipses bot play greatly.

Please, avoid naming and shaming others players in the forums. It is against rules and you might receive sanctions for it.

If you suspect of someone being a bot, contact support with the replay, or report him in-game.

Closing this thread, have a nice day.
