The map province is broken which no balance at all. You can spot and sniper other postion without scouting using the elite equipment+consum. The map is same broken as the obj268v4.

Map where only perhaps 40% of it is playable with crossifre everywhere? Sounds good to me :)

my main objection to this map is the west spawn can get tanks up on the hill and behind bushes on J9 and then they control all the east side... if a tank moves out from behind a building they get blasted before they even spot the snipers...
The hill on the West side is nowhere near as strong a position

But there is one thing that in fact makes this map Number 1 - it is the most EVEN map of all. The sides are practically mirrored and that is what most of the other maps lack a lot.

The problem is it was a popular map because it was a fun map and one players requested be returned.

It was a lot of fun as a low tier map.

So players asked continually over the years for its return.

They made it a bit bigger but it plays much the same as the old province.

Been on this map maybe a dozen times and both sides can get across to each others base pretty quickly.

Curently that's all teams do, both teams race across take up sniper positions on the highest point and try to spot the defenders.

I had hoped that when they made it larger it would be by adding more terrain and putting the old province map in one corner of the new map.

Rather than just scaling up the old map a little.

Its way way better than Mittengard

I believe the reason why most people asked for Province back was mainly due to nostalgia. The problem with nostalgia is that it often focuses on the good stuff and cancels out the bad stuff. Now, the bad stuff with Province is that it is simply not a very good map. The Province I remember from years ago was the kind of map where you were expected to defend as attacking was difficult. The Province now is the complete opposite. Defence is practically impossible now, especially on the east side due to the easily accessible high ground position located around D2 which gives a full sweep of the area. There is a similar position on the west side but it doesn't offer quite as much cover. Province is also perhaps the most tank specific map in the game right now. If you are in a fast medium with good turret armour and a reliable gun, this map is perfect for you. If you are in a large, slow heavy tank that doesn't hide well and doesn't respond well to firepower from various different angles, you are unlikely to enjoy playing it.

It is quite possibly my least favourite map in circulation right now.

Awful map way too small, cant scout, can't flank, only 2 possible positions. gg WG.

Funny how WG dont give a crapa bout community. I just wonder how can anyone design such awful map, release it and then keep it in game?

Proof that eating crayons is detrimental and results in map designers producing crap maps.

Then they open said maps to all tiers. Crayons must be the main contents in the WG vending machines.

I was on forced break because of computer problems. After returning I got a game in province and instantly decided that I am not playing a single battle until it gets removed.

At least Province has some semblance of attack/defend strategy. Try to tell me with a straight face that Malinovka is a normal map. Who ever made it was creating it to train TD players aiming and absolutely nothing else. Every time I play that map the match is 11min minimum.
