I think 1 gold shell at a cost of 1 bond would be a fair way of controlling the gold spam atm. So even if lets say a Kranvagn loaded a full clip of 4 shells to take down a Maus he was having trouble with, fired them all and reloaded gold again to finish Maus off then that would cost 8 bonds. Not too much. But if he decided to do this every game and fire gold at every tank then that is going to cost a massive amount of bonds. And it would completely eradicate lower tier gold spammers as they would chew through way too many bonds in even a single game. What you guys think?

It is only a matter of time to be honest.

Wait, this is a problem? Like, seriously? Half the tanks at lower tiers can pen one and other simply by looking at them angrily, and then there are tanks like the H35 Which are pretty immune to the standard ammo of most same tier tanks expect for completely flat side/rear shots. That's equally why tanks like the Matilda are so bloody powerful at Tier IV, a lot of same tier tanks can struggle to pen it reliably with standard ammo (honestly I think that's actually pretty wrong to say, but then you see the average Tier IV Game and a Matilda player can just triple+R Forward and win the game), but then people complain that their T-28 Is being shot with Gold despite that almost every tank at that tier can pen it.

Interesting, another concept to make sure armored tanks remain OP. Instead of asking for stuff that makes playing non-armored tanks a chore, why not learn how to use armor properly? Quite some tanks in the game are already very resistant to prem ammo, if only used properly.

But it does need to put in some effort & often sacrifice some damage to get that blocking up to par.

In your example, a Maus is already one tough brick. Standard ammo can barely hurt it & prem ammo has a hard time on it when the Maus player is any decent. And tbh, the Kranwagn's prem ammo shouldn't even be able to pen you that easy. It's 300mm pen on the prem ammo. A Maus player paying attention to the gun should be able to bounce that well.

So please, learn how to use your armor instead of complaining that prem ammo is ruining it for you.

Huge problem with that idea as what you are suggesting is that use of premium ammo is only for elite players.

Some would only be able to use premium shells on maybe one tank and once they use them it would be some time before they could do it again.

Goes back to the day when they first introduced premium ammo just for money, sure it was used less but some players couldn't use it at all.

Currently every single player can use premium shells and that is fair.

if this idea will ever get into the game i expect;

1- bonds for gold

2- more bond per game with premium time/premium tanks

3-possibly an add to watch during the battle countdown that can be skipped only with bonds :trollface:

OP confirmed unable to learn how to use his armour.

OP confirmed unable to use his brain, he cannot even forsee the consequences of his ideas.

Premium rounds are NOT a problem in this game when they can be purchased for silver.
