Having now played a few games in the 'super' sniper K91, I have got to say that the concealment of this vehicle is rubbish. Keep getting spotted by heavies!. What's going on wargaming. I believe wargaming have been getting concealment values wrong for a while now. The stealthy heavy that suddenly appears and kills you. I'd be interested in what others think.

IIRC it has the highest base camo of any tier 10 med.

IMO the bushes on the HD maps are completely broken, they provide too much camo.

Would be better to see what is happening with replays.

^ What he ( Simeon ) said.....

Replays are best to see what is going on. More often than not it's either player error or ignorance how and when camo can be utilized.

I do know about bush mechanics as being playing for a while. It's not just this vehicle though. Super heavies are far too stealthy.

Dude you like to hate wg? .. they provide too much camo..  Serious? Double bush il boost your camo but you il not spot the enemy, and he il not spot you until he il be next to you))) The value of k91 is ok, medium sniper no armor,so play it in second line/next to td

Eh honestly, some HT's got way too much viewrange, so it could be that the HT viewrange is too good rather then the K-91 camorating being too low. Also make sure you are behind the bush at all times. if you use a tree for camo, remember that the bottom of the tree is open (no camorating bonus); knock that tree down!

For fun & giggles my KV-4 viewrange is now +-410 meters (base: 350 meters), thanks to good equipment & good crew skills, allowing me to spot a T-10 & wreck him good & he never saw me.

An HT with base viewrange of 400 meters should be able to outspot plenty of meds if he had good equipment & great crewskills.

Stealth KV-4 in action.

Than as asked, post a replay. Without that we can not tell you anything.

I just had my first game in mine on Paris and nothing seemed wrong with the cammo.

Post up some replays so we can actually visualise how broken it is, rather than just taken some random person on the internet's word for it?

Don't do replays. My games aren't usually that good. I'm interested to hear what other K91 drivers think. And about heavies being too stealthy.

Replays aren't just to show how good you are.

You can analyse anything strange happening in a game after the fact and see what has actually happened.

Or you can analyse your own gameplay and see what you could've done better.

And since most replays are only around 1MB in size, there's barely any reason not to have them enabled.

Which is exactly why most of the forum regulars ask for replays, so then can see what actually happened and tell you such.

That way you can get a better understanding of the game and your own gameplay and learn from it to get better.

The main reason people don't want to show their replays is that the 'strange thing' they saw is so easily explained by anyone viewing the replay.  These people would like to keep an air of mystery about what they claim...

Strv with fully upgraded camo values available is around ~64% stationery and still around ~14% while firing.

when you are at 440 meter away from a scout the scout still needs around 500 meter view range to spot you even if you are firing to overcome the remaining camo values. Most lights don’t have that much view range only with active binocs where you need to be stationary also.

a fully upgraded rhm can come up to ~530m viewrange on the move.

a T100 hardly can reach 500m on the move as the base value is that low.

A heavy using the terrain well can be very stealthy, even with 0 camo-rating. You have to anticipate on that as well. I have caught snipers/spotters unaware of my presence with slow non-camo tanks like KV-4 & Maus, simply by using terrain & guessing where they spotted from( good spot/snipinglocations can be obvious)

The panic mode they sometimes shift into when a Maus/KV-4 suddenly appears close to them is fun, lemme tell you that.

But that's also why replays are a good tool. To see what happened & if you can't see it, provide it to the community, that way they can explain it to you & you now have a better grasp on how to anticipate on such situations in the future.

I didn't become good overnight with fun tricks to play. I learned many a thing from replays & the things i didn't got, I asked for help & shared the replay, no matter how dumb it sometimes looked, because i was interested on how some tankers pulled things off & people are happy to explain it for you as long as you lay off the 'HAXX/CHEAT! accusations.

Btw, I am happy you didn't go that route & instead are a bit more reasonable.

Plenty of folks are willing to help you explain & can even catch something you might have missed (like a sneaky enemy spotter that is in some weird random location you didn't expect, keeping you lit up)

My best abuse of camo/vision mechanics still in KV-4

I learned above by viewing replays of others & watching my own replays where I had odd encounters with 6th sense popping on (or not) & learning to use it in future matches.

Have you got BIA, CAMO skills and camo paint on?
