Why isnt Fjords fixed yet? i wonder... i really wonder

Its so stupid, like... one team have an incredible advantage over the other...

 

 the team who spawns south, can easly get into the hill, spot the entire middle if the light tank have good camorating and the player knows what he is doing...

 

at same time, the team who spawns north, cant even push the hill area, because they will easly be spoted from the middle nad killed from the back by tank destroyers or heavies who will imediatly push E4 path near that small "swamp",... so either the north team chose to camp and wait, risking to be spoted, and die or they risk to push and be killed, while the south spawn team can pretty much be safe and chose when to push or not....

 

other obvious disadvantage for the north spawn team ,is the heavies engagement, even if they win the corner, then they must cross in front of tank destroyers who may be either on the south cap hills near the water, or in the middle bushes and wreak them... 

 

it simply doesnt make sense... the map design is totaly inbalanced towards one team... i can even say that the south spawn is better for the artie,s because you get more angles of shots if you play near the water in the peninsula, while the north arties have 2 huge hills that basicly cut their vision from most of the middle...

 

the map its a mess, and the other version was way more balanced... 

 

Firstly the middle of the map must be fixed,  the north team should at least have the possibility or the chance of pushing the horth parth, without risking to have shots from their back in the middle, the suposed cover on B6 and B7 doesnt work, it doesnt do anything really, because it only provides cover to one side, but in order to be in cover to one side, your exposed to the other...


So... this map must be redesigned, its not like in Erlenberg where you changed the map, and now its played diffferently, but both teams have the same chances because the map is more or less well distributed, Fjords its a complete different story...

 

It needs to have terrain redesign on the middle... the B6 and B7 elevations should be bigger, it should block the vision to the north push and not provide shots from one side to the other, otherwise taking control of the middle will decide basicly who wins, and the since one team allways take the middle because its easier to access from south, obviously south will tend to win the map more times...

 

I dont have any statistics that provide me this information, but i have allways this feeling, the south team have an incredibly advantage over the north... and tend to win. 

 

fix the map!

i dont think the change to Mountain Pass is for the better either.

Typical WG, they look at their statistics, see one side is much better and then, because playing your own game to quickly understand the problem, change some random things that have nothing to do with balance on the map. Or have you ever lost a game because there wasn't an additional path on the far right side of the map?

They've practically destroyed a lot of maps with the rework in HD. Like for example Erlenberg - one of my favorite maps before the HD patch and utter crap after the "rework". WG should just roll back to the first version of each and every map ever implemented in the game, becouse literally every "rework" they did made everything a lot worse.

Don't forget Paris in all this map hatred :angry:

 

Also Kharkov was my favourite map, before WG removed it. They said some rubbish about it being too complicated and want people to go down corridors because the majority of the player base has no brain...

WG will say its balanced and do nothing, as always.

If the maps would be balanced properly games might take longer then 3 minutes. If that happens people would use less premium consumables, which would lower the need of credit income boosting with the latest op premium tanks, etc. If you didnt already noticed: WG has no interest in balancing the game, rather then to improve their profit.

Remove the map Fjords!

Its the least palanced map, no one will miss it.

When you have 2 equal teams in tearms of skill and tanks(wich nearly never happens) the EAST SPWAN will ALLWYS WIN!

Its auto loose for the west spawn. No fun, no gameplay at all just shredding stats all day, all night.

 

How to fix it?

Answer: REMOVE FJORDS!!!!!

Fjord is that map where south lost only if its team is full of baboons that dont know to play... If that is not case, well north is auto lost...  Its WG logic, so dont question it...

The only change I've noticed is the removal of rocks and bush on the north side of the 'bowl'. Probably because lights are so OP on that map.

Both teams can cross the open area now much safer, when heading towards the south brawling area. Sure, if you cross like a moron you will still get rekt.

 

It's a pretty good change, actually.

If it "nearly never happens" then it isnt really a problem is it? So the East spawn dont always win, and its not an "Auto Loss" for the West spawn either.

I find the teams lose when the heavies do not go to the heavy lane but instead camp in the TD part, it is so well known now that TDs, camp in a certain part all you have to do is blind fire, plus the bushes thee need to be thicker in that area.

well paris is fine aslong as the tanks used on it have less than 300m viewrange. as than every corridor is usable instead of none.
