I just came back to WoT after like a 3-4 months pause. Out of 86 battles played this week I think that I got bamboozled at least 5 times. These things that happened to me never happened before I'm talking about almost 13k battles. I'm casually playing, being aware all the time if I'm spotted or not. So in these 5 battles at the time that I got shot or killed I wasn't spotted, for a good 15-20 seconds. And the thing is that the players are not shooting "blindshots" at me, they exactly know when I'm coming out. So my question is do "wallhacks" like in Call of Duties exist in WoT?

There is no mod that shows unspotted tanks, except this one thing, where your own teammates transmit tank positions to a player in the enemy team and vice versa. To get this working, you need a player with this mod in both teams, so unlikely.

Just out of interest, do you have a replay where this happened?

Remember that things calculated server side cannot be altered by mods. Also, replay like always.

The game client does not know where unspotted tanks are on the map. This information is not available to the client. A mod like this is technically impossible. With patch 1.0.0 tracers for unspotted tanks have also been removed.

Discussing these kinds of things without a replay is entirely pointless, as relying on the explanations of the player alone won't get us anywhere. Sooo... replay?

Apart from that, I doubt that you know what a "wallhack" is, so you might want to google that. And no, those kinds of things most definitely don't exist in this game.

Just out of curiousity, how are you so sure you weren't spotted? More poignantly, how are you so sure you weren't spotted all the time?

Remember that Sixth Sense only goes off if you got unspotted at any point after the first spot, if that never happens, you'll not get a new warning. So if your commander's hatch is always sticking out, or if you were constantly in the spotting range of a passive tank, or if your timing is off 'cause somebody had Designated Target, all possible explanations for the "but I wasn't spotted!?" scenario.

Like others say though, hard to tell without a replay.

Currently the only way to get the position of an unspotted enemy is to triangulate his position with the hit direction indicator. A mod could theoretically do that automatically. You'd have to get hit by the same enemy more than once and the enemy would have to be stationary for this to work properly. You'd also have to move between the hits. I highly doubt that such a mod exists as it is very situational.

There is something called brain. It might come as a surprise but some or using it while playing.

Had a game on cliff where i looked at a certain spot at the right moment and saw a tree fall. So i put one and one together and came to the conclusion that a tree doesn't fall over by itself and blind shotted the spot...and hit a Skorpion G twice.

http://wotreplays.eu...caebf6658fb7a63 pretty much at the end where i wanted to follow our Spaghetto but decided not to because i slipped on the ground because reasons.

Nothing to do with the 4 months break you had dulling your skill set then - had to be hacks?

I thought it was just me being dumb.

Had a couple of dozen times when 6th sense hasn't gone off at all.

Are you sure you weren't spotted the entire time? I didn't notice anything like that.

Wow I didn't expect this much replies in a short time. Yup I don't save replays since I don't upload them nor store them on my disk, so I'm sorry for that folks. I should definitely change that from now on xD. @Jigabachi Mate I do know what a wallhack is, I was just being curious if a such thing exists in WoT. But the thing still bugs me because I was behind fat [edited]hard covers and I couldn't get proxy spotted. I don't know really, maybe it's my fault but things were reaaally weird, really.

Nope, and you are either spotted or camping in very obvious spots.

Replays?

Many people says, that you can't cheat in wot, i mean there no such thing, but BUT it exist... it happens to me some times...

1st - enemy tank had us spotted 2 near him he didn't know who to shoot, cuz his turret were rotating whole the time, at the end he didn't shoot anyone and he had like 30% of his hp left, easy frag for me, but still funny and sad at the same time...

2nd - driving tank ( he is 200 meters away ) have better accuracy as you do and he did damage to (destroys ) you in first shoot, i don't know is he so good or what

Those 2 thing happens to me, it happens to you for sure, but you think is lucky shoot right? And some will says, replays or didn't happens right? :/

Trying to having fun is this game, but when this happens, my mood is to delete wot :/

Who says you cannot cheat in WoT? It is generally accepted that cheats exist. A lot of people have no idea what cheats can and can't do and blame every shot they take on cheats though.

As for your examples:

1st - What does this in any way shape or form has to do with cheats?

2nd - So someone got a lucky ammorack? How is this in any way connected to cheats?

The second example is a perfect example of someone not understanding how the game works and what cheats can and can't achieve.

You cannot just install some cheat to give you less dispersion or more module damage, the game is server side so any attempt at cheats like that will simply not work. Your client can try to tell the server what happened a thousand times, the server will still be "nope, that's not what hhppened, HERE is what really happened. Also you're dead".

Well people QQing nonstop on this forum for same reasons, same topics...

1st - normal player would focus on 1 tank just to get more exp, if he can't do anything anymore 1-2 shoot will success ( 300 dmg more, more exp ) and not that he was playing with his turret like with his "d.ick"

2nd. oh professor x, it was not ammorack, was normal shot, from 200+ meters, and guess what when i appears he automatically turned his turret to me and in same second he shot, so in this second when he turned his turret, he managed to target me and shot from 200+ meters

yea, you don't need to be smart a.ss( in some topics, people spamming you need higher IQ to play this game ), to figured out how this game works, right? So from now i'm noob, don't know anything about tactics, sad :/
