Nothing to say really, title says it all.

Why did WG feel the need to bring back such a useless and uninteresting POS map, I will never know.

Share your experiences, people, do you like Poovince or do you desert automatically like I do when I get put on it?

WarGaming can't accept that their work is turd, just look at the Komarin story. It was a trash map and the shape of the map entirely dictated the way it would be played. They tried several different versions before finally taking it out of the game.

No doubt we'll see Komarin return at some point with HD textures to make up for the absolute trash map design.

We already had plenty of threads about it, use the search function.
The map has some nice spots, but like it is the case with most maps, it's just way too small. And there are major chokepoints and bottlenecks everywhere.

tI-tV, that should be the limit.

Agreed, Province must go, or at the very least be restricted to tier 6 and below.

I rather like it, fun at tiers 5 and below

I also have this unpopular opinion of liking it even with high tiers and even with craptanks. I like the unique playstyle and I don't think it's too campy. Something different.

 

I'd like it to stay and also cap it at tier 6 or 8 is ok imo.

I'd also much rather see Paris removed and Ensk beeing capped at tier 6 or tier 8 max. Province is playable.

It works fine on mid tiers tbh. It's no worse then what Highway or Stalingrad was back in the day. It's tier X games that is a drag on it. It's as good as it was having tier X games on Widepark back in the day.

Well, Mines is still here, so I don't think there's much hope.

 

I don't like either of them. Widepark ("heehee") was better than Province. If only by a hair.

this map is not so bad, but is not a map for tier 9 and X games..you are always spotted and is not so fun ..but this is a common problem with most of the maps of the game ... too small to accommodate 30 players in a single game.

Too much chaos and maps so small given the sighting and radius of sighting the game does not make any logical sense. minimum size according to me decent for a more comfortable game ranging from 1350x1350..no shadow of doubt

most of the current maps from tier 8 games up to tier X are really disgusting and they are too but really too small 

clearly the maps are smaller, the games finish first .. and the number of games played will be higher ... and I think this is very much in line with the WG in direct or indirect economic terms.

I like it, I consistently have good games in it and the map is much better for lights and paper meds than many other maps in the game (i.e Mines, Paris, Himmelsdorf, Ensk, Mountain Pass, Abbey etc, it's better than all those maps IMO). Sure it's a bit campy, but it just takes some patience, awareness and good view range to do well. 

 

What I like most about it is idiot heavy tanks seem to do consistently bad in it, they push forward thinking they are all invincible and get outspotted, then wrecked in the side. 

 

I'd like them to add more flanking routes into the two sides from the middle and add more cover in the middle so this becomes more usable. They also need to clear out the bushes round the back of each cap, it is completely retarded trying to dig TDs and arties out of these spots because you basically cannot outspot them.

 

Ideally I think the middle should be raised up in elevation so that the difference in height is a lot less and it was more like a gently sloping valley, this would allow more routes into the two flanks. 

 

But definitely keep it, I have no idea why this map gets so much hate, yet people barely complain about Mountain Pass or Ensk etc. which are complete trash in comparison.

If we have to get corridor maps i prefer province since if you are smart you can survive and do well.  And also carry. In other corridor maps thst i call dumb corridor maps you cant escape the frontal engagement...

 

 

Province is a smart corridor map... Or anti dumb heavy idiot semi corridor map.

Are you ok with limiting ensk, muntain pass etc to lower tiers too? In my opinion province is better than both maps except maybe for dumb heavy players who dont like province since they get shoot in tue sides from the other side

Surely it is not beyond the realms of reality to introduce some brand new maps, just how hard can it be?

It may be because they dont make us pay for maps?.. low priority when you have new t8 prems in the pipeline.

It's not as bad as it used to be.

Before you couldn't move without being shot at.
Now you actually have a chance to cross the valley.

It's still not a great map specially for the high tiers but it's not totally unenjoyable

In fact, I would either redesign the vast majority of the maps to make them bigger or indeed limit them for lower tiers. Either way, we need some new and bigger maps for the higher tiers.
