I can not log in to the session statistics site because WG api does not work when it is repaired?

What sessions site?

Kind of interesting that they're killing off the API, judging from the unofficial statistics (tinfoil time!).

Concerning the playerbase taking a nosedive?

Yes, though here it's more likely that the site itself has stopped working. It'll be tinfoil time if WG kills the API due to concerns over XVM. Doubt that's happening now. I expect WG to know player health well enough to have predicted any serious nosedive and kill off statistics well in advance. Not that I'd bet on anyone with a golden calf down for the count.

Worth to mention that the last update on Monday shows a tiny increase in player numbers over the previous week.

The API isn't broken (not more than usual anyway), but WG requires all API users to accept their new terms of use for it to unlock their API key again. Also they removed the "demo" access recently, so anyone using that needs to get his own key.

AFAIK XVM isnt up and running yet with the new patch so maybe ...just maybe...

I don't miss those pretty colours at all, but do miss knowing who has hit me and with what.

That information is already available in the vanilla client like about 10 patches ago?

Amazing how many people rely on mods to do what the vanilla client already does.

Prob cos the vanilla hides these things very well and most players wouldn't know they exist....like the VR circles.

They also get used to a way of doing things and become set in their ways.

Ignorance is bliss. With the amount of information available these days either through officical WG channels, streamers or 3th party sites you can easily check what a new patch brings and the excuse "I habe es nicht gewust" is just pathetic.

If I stopped to read every patch note and news item I would have no time to actually play the game.

I don't learn from patch notes I get my news on the forums, which, unlike the game, I can read in work.

Hides things in the options which it flags up with a bright orange marker every time something new is added or changes?  Much hidden, very wow.

They are still updating it and putting in some new features.
