Considering it's mostly WWII era tanks I like, and how WG.NET hva treated us as "valued customers" ....they can take that and stuff it :D

And considering general feeling from watching assorted streams, websites, and what happens here on English part of forum ... sort of fells like I'm not alone in this.

Pity, since there are no actual competitors offering the same content I like ... if there were I'd be outa here asap I guess :/

WoT 1.0 > WoT 2.0

I guess we‘ll see a massive increase in *the end is near* threads soon-ish. ^^

More option is always better that less...

Only problem is if all our money is going into developing a game that we don't like....

From what I saw we continue to have the red contour and spotting mechanics, which IMHO is one of the most stupid thing you can have in a game.

I can also see all those choppers red-line snipping.....could be an improvement over arty

IIRC, in a recent Q&A they said WoT 2.0 and 3.0 were internal codename not related with the game version...

Modern Tanks will never be as popular as WWII tanks as they lack the appeal in design and variety to be interesting, also their reputations are not as legendary either.

That being said, I'm not particularly interested in this game, certainly if it will start out with the balancing that WoT is heading towards.

More of WGs balance and RNG with really heavily armored tanks and aircraft .........

Yeah they can keep it.

Not looking forward to start another grind fest from scratch, that looks like an Armored Warfare clone 'balanced' by WG.

Lose interest? As mentioned in the post, it was originally done by WG Seattle. And now by the Minsk office just to finish it up more. Even so, like the other games, I'm willing to bet they have their own set of ppl do update it etc. Not to take away resources from the other games. Even more so considering the income machine WOT is vs their other products.

It's still done by WG. And considering how most "love" the aspects of this game. I doubt many will run towards more of the same, and starting from scratch at the same time.

Most started this game to go for WWII tanks like the Tiger and Shermans etc. Not a Bradley or a T90. Some like modern tanks more, and might linger in both if this works out well. Or some might be attracted to the helicopters and A-10 action more so then the tanks. But in the long run. I doubt it will make a massive impact on this game vs now. As AW did show, modern tanks is not that appealing vs WWII. Even less so if not done right. As even BF and COD did feel the pressure to go back to WWII from their fans after a streak of modern games. That and I suspect the arty haters here will love this less, as having an A-10 do strafing runs on you might be just as bad.

It was. 2.0 is simply a list of stuff they want to fix more so then a new version or game.

Looks a bit 'console' to me, where I'm sure it will go down a treat.

If it's a grind game like WoT I'll most likely let it slide past in silence.

If I wanted to play modern tanks, I would've gone to Armored Welfare long time ago.
Pretty pointless project that one.

What consequences for WoT? More gamebraking stuff in WoT aimed to make quick profit to finance new project that will end up in trash bin in few months.

Tank warfare became also more important during WW2 and not so much these days anymore. I mean actual tank warfare and not just using tanks as support for infantry.

The only way WG could make another WoT like game and be successful if they carried veteran WoT players over, by giving them a LOT perks or even transferring accounts. Otherwise most people won't touch them.

Difficult to judge knowing so little.

At the end of that Armoured Warfare video it said 'coming soon'... which generally translates to 'won't trouble the average player for 5 to 10 years'.

I thought this is the game WG Seattle branch was developing and it got cancelled when that branch shut down?
