I realise enabling after battle chat is prone to toxic stuff. But I'd like to test it out.

Also ability to compliment players like in WOWS would be great. Now it just negative feedback.

It's MMO after all :)

The amount of negative feedback is disappointingly low unless you really go in for the play4fun approach. :(

The offensive messages you can ignore, the complimentary ones you can appreciate, as they were intended to be appreciated.

I sometimes send some other player a "well done" for a great match with many medals,

doesnt matter if on the enemy team or not, but more likely if a friendly saves the day.

These days I've given up on negative stuff.  I'll send a positive message to someone who really did well on my own team (currently happening once every aeon) or if I've been well outplayed in a close personal duel with an enemy (all the time).

What is there to test when you already know it's just going to be worthless? If you really want to compliment someone then PM them.

After the battle you can use private chat. So i don't feel the need for that. But it wouldn't be a bad thing to have some sort of system where players award other players. No negative whatsoever. But all 30 players can award a badge from a list to three players in a specific match. And if more than 4 players gave the same badge to you, then you get that badge. Same as any medal, just a commemorative award without any benefits.

I would agree with battle chat. Where, to avoid the bad things that lead to inter team chat being removed, some system similar with games like Heartstone where players can chose from a list something to say. Like a greeting, a pat on the back, a praise, or a display of not being in agreement, or even scolding.
