Hi,

Guys am I the only one being annoyed, that I have to update everything with every little patch? I'm sure, that most of my mods would work perfectly fine, because there was only a little bug patched, but I have to download everything again.

Some smartass will argue that I could avoid that and just play vanilla, but I don't want the bad vanilla experience.

I can't believe, that there isn't a better solution for mod updates in 2017, than downloading and installing everything every single time.

The better solution is called a mod pack. There are various out there and installing/uninstalling/reinstalling is pretty easy with such a pack.

There is: stop using mods. Problem solved.

What? The version is still the same, 1.0.2.1

That should mean mods don't need to be updated, or am I wrong? I'm using a garage UI mod and it didn't need to update that often...

Maybe different mods work differently? :hiding: Beats me.

It all depends on what has been updated.

Garaage mods rarely need updating to work properly.

They do need to be in the right folder though.

If its just a bug fix,  it shouldn't change that version number.

If it does but nothing is changed,  then you can just rename the folder to the right number and they'll instantly work again

You rarely need to update mods if you don't use XVM.
