To train crew for my fresh Jpz E100, my WR went horribly down.... Currently I have Jagdtiger crew in Skorp with some skills, but still my WR is below 40%, in Jpz E100 is like 8%. Fought 6-7 battles tonight in Jpz E100, only last one was a win (ofcourse I bounced of mighty Rashan stalinium when it was do or die)....

WTF?? Do I have to pay WG scum more money to have better RNG or what?

I hear Dingers buy the fort knoxes and it's ... errr ... not having any effect at all.

So, what I'm suggesting you buy the fort knox to remove the curse that was cast upon you when you bought the Skorp.

You didn't buy Fort Knox at the same time?

I'm not sure it works if you buy it later, best get two just in case.

Wait a minute... They're not selling Fort Knoxes anymore?

Maybe just buy 2x Jackpots then!

I mean "no luck" must be better than "bad luck".

Your TD winrates are not particularly good. Maybe german TDs or TDs in general aren't your type of tank or shouldn't have skipped 3 tiers at once.

Had the same issue with my skorp. Below tomato  performance and WR. And it was a Lady commander. So my crew really hated her.

Now at 50% WR and 6 complete skills... Let's just say my German crews want no one else issuing orders.

She is Judith Irlbacher.

No offence, but I don't understand how can people have problems playing the Skorpion: it's one of the most noob-friendly t8 prem. tanks.

I don't have one and I imagine I would do badly in it.

It has all the qualities needed to get noobs into trouble they can't get out of.  That's how to do badly in it.

Many bad players and those without much experience just rely on the big guns like on the Skorpion G without actually trying to get to know any of the tanks they are driving.

As said above, same reason people suck in the Hellcat + T67. It's fast with bad camo so people get themselves into positions that the Skorpions "armor" can't get them out of.

Have a good crew for German TDs? If so, just train 1 or 2 crew at a time and not all of them. Compromise and keep the sensible crew like commander a heavily skilled option for the major gains. By training just one or two crew at a time, you can ensure the overall performance is not terrible, the most important things like view range and aim time/reload are great AND since you are only training one crew member, this crew member will get the lions share of the "train crew" premium option so will be getting trained much faster EVERY battle then simply retrain as a commander for your other TD, rinse and repeat. NEVER run an all stock crew lol... damn bro what you thinking lol?

Hellcat and t67 rely almost exclusively on their dpm, Skorpion has both dpm and enough alpha_dmg, to make even t10 poop their pants

Yes, but it has no armour. So, when things go south an inexperienced player will be screwed.

Hi!

ScorpG is hard to play. When I put in mine 2000+ battles crew, I too started with 40% WR. And WR started improving only after 500 batles.

Some quick notes about playing this beast:

- good gun, but nothing special vs. tier-10 monstrosities.

- good speed, sub-average turning. You'll not out-turn anything.

- sub-average cammo (esp. vs. tier-10 tanks), non-existent after firing. Always have a hard cover nearby to get into after firing.

- when in tier-10 battles:
      * stay far behind front line, in cover and snipe most of the time.
      * Always assume you're spotted until proven otherwise.

      * Advance only (err... ONLY!!!!!) when you know positions of most enemy tanks. ScorpG is 2-3-shot for most tier-10 tanks it meets.

- even when top-tier, most of sentences above are valid. You just don't die so quickly.

Caveat: I have only 52% WR with it, about 5% lower than my average is, so I still don't play it properly. :(

BR,  Iztok

Sometimes you are just in bad luck. When I bought my Skorpion G when it came out I lost the first 7 or 8 battles in a row with it and had a hitrate of less than 50% when I got my first win. 12,5% WR was rather epic :)

No, it is not. It is big, so even a blind player sees you accross the map, it turns like a brick so you can not dodge and it has no armor, so even a pesky T6 will kill you. Combine this with corridor maps which are useless to any kind of sniping, and you realize that it is really far from noob friendly.

And what have we learned from this?

Even the most op tank can't make a bad player a unicorn

Which in turn makes the phrase "pay to win" mostly moot...
