Yeah, the only way you can figure out which tanks to use for the easier missions is to go the event's news article and read it up there. Why the HELL did nobody put the list of historical tanks into the mission descriptions in the event screen in-game? Or am I missing something?

A garage filter would have been my preference for this.

I don't have any of those Historical vehicles in my garage except Churchill III.

But I think I have them all researched (with all modules) except for arty.

Wonder which one of them to buy just for this missions in way which one would be most fun to play?

Thinking about buying Pz IV H and put E50M crew in it for event duration as out of all them derp Pz IV H seem like most fun to play...

And use Churchill III just for those missions where you need to be in Top XX by XP earned as that thing is pure XP factory :)

Its quite an uninspiring (ingame/meta) tank selection... kind of highlights the powercreep and the "object/blueprint" obsession by the developers.

Dusted down my Pz IV H and I'll see how it goes.

It's a battle from 1943 between only two nations, not really surprising the tank selection is fairly limited especially as the game progresses to tanks developed in the 50's and 60's.

I can see it's there now but I could've sworn I didn't see it when I was playing this morning. :D I repeat, my eyes were sweaty, actual sweat.

Interesting how there are three premium tanks, what is even more interesting is that they are all on the Soviet side...

Picture of a crew of a PzKpfw III resting during the Battle of Kursk

I wonder why the PzKpfw III was not included in the list?

What! NO russian ARTY. wow i think that some one is not telling the truth here . look up any history book and u will see that russians had lots of artys during the battle of kursk .

And so did the germans too - in some books its described  that without the russian arty the german tank divisions would have advansed even more.and the counter attak and defeat of germans would not happend without the artillery from russian side (roalling thunder)- Off course this is a game and what is god for the balance of game play is written in the stars.

But can we have atleast (1) arty piece to russian side "(PLEASE)" PS if the artys in game is not the models from that curent period just reskin one of them and make it a premium t5 or t4 ,need something to balance the Leff-Leff french.

Because none of the USSR spgs modelled in the game actually fought at Kursk, so WG is being historically accurate. Other spgs may have been used, just not the ingame ones.

Yes I get that bit :) its just based in randoms so it kind of spoils the vibe. Would have been a nice touch to let those tanks fight only against each other.

Best part is that they included tier 2 and 3 tanks - really nice for these "x games in top y" missions ^^

If I go into battle in the Churchill III I'm usually one of many.  Went out in my M3 Light just now and I was the only one.
