Is it just me or the hills in Wot have a higher slope as you aproach the top? More like mountains. It doesn`t resemble a real hill and that`s not a natural common feature as the erosion and such lead to amorphous shapes.

At some point you couldn't drive over hills / slopes and with that you wouldn't really find people on top of stuff,  after that was changed a lot of mountain climbing ensued and what you are seeing might be the leftover from countering that a little, done intentionally. Has been like that for a while now though.

If its shaped that way its probably supposed to be impassable from the bottom. Also leads to less damage, dropping off from above. Also means you are less likely to get 'stuck' on the slope. Gameplay trumps naturalistic hills..

And screwing money from customers trumps gameplay.

It has long been known that mountain goating is considered; let's call it gamesmanship.  Given people cannot be trusted to play within the spirit of the rules.  We now have sheet ice inclines and cliffs.  As ever you reap what you sow.

Also erosion will almost always result in concave features due to angle of repose, cohesion and gravity.
