Since you 're a new player, I would advise you to abstain from average/mediocre/meh branches/tech trees until you get more experience ( unless you really want that t10 ). In general, grinding is hard while in the mid tiers, partly due to bad MM, and that's something even good players suffer from, so no need to feel bad.

You can ask around for tank Lines to grind, based on your current battle count, or watch some vids.

How come you 've only played 2k battles since 2012?

experience with MM or the P.43?

Seems normal for MM TBH

P.43 - no idea since there are zero reasons to play that line

I really like the tank is just a struggle when against tier 8s

The match maker focuses on 3-5-7 (top-mid-bottom) so 16-35-49 is what to expect from 100 games.

3:5:7 and the variation you've had seem "normal".  But like you said, being bottom tier aren't often fun.  It'll depend a lot on what MM throws together of tanks and arty on teams :/

Edit typos

The middle tier Italians are actually quite noob friendly.  They are surprisingly bouncy, and have decent if not very good guns tier for tier.

His real trouble will come with the tier 8+, with the weird auto reloader.

I have said this before, I will say it again, the best tiers for new players are 4-6.  Playing higher then that will result in said noob redline camping, and either getting mass reported for inaction/bot in the better case, and shot by team mates in the worst case.

Not all t4-6 tanks are good for beginners, for example t4 jap. heavy(although t5 and 6 are not bad)

of course.  But still those tiers are better then the higher tiers.

Tier 4-5-6 are out of most machinegun tanks with the exception of the Luchs and Leopard.  The machinegun tanks are the absolute worst thing WG has introduced since it teaches new players to auto lock and spray and pray, instead of working on their gunnery skill and learning to lead targets, and learning to track and detrack with fast ROF tanks, and the absolute obvious, aiming for weak spots.

The other positive of lower tiers for them is that they will not bleed credits even if with standard account only, leading many to stop playing.  We need more new players in to replace the vet's that quit.

4-5 years ago, a weekend special had a minimum server count of 200K, up to 350-400k players for really good events.  Now I rarely see over 200k even during tankfest/anniversary specials, with most w/e specials having 100-110k online at prime hours.

The 2 biggest mistakes a new player can make in WoT is flying up the tiers, and buying a tier 8 premium tank without having 200-300 battles at least at tier 8 in a tech tree tank.

Not by design. By incompetence and ignorance. MM for T6 and T8 is broken beyond repair. And the T6 italian tank sucks on top of that. At least when yopu get to T7 you most likely will see better MM and also have a much much better tank to drive.

Do you count tier 2 games as bottom tier?  Strikes me that all 2 tier games can be factored as mid tier.  Also, have not included any single tier fights.  Which could be classed as top or bottom tier. when playing a tier 6.  Of course looking at the data in a different way would present your evidence in a different light and we do not want that do we?

Do 100 more and you might see different numbers. As even server and time of day affects it. As playing tier 6 at peak hours vs late in the evening or at night will make you see +2 more due to tier population etc. But those numbers as to be expected with the 3-5-7 MM tbh.

I did not track my stats when I did play it. But it was on EU2 during normal hours. And I did see my fair share of +2. Not sure how many. But I saw enough top tier and mid tier games between it not to care about it.

Elite? Sure. Stock? No. Then it will punish you hard for your mistakes. As it's no speed demon then to name one. Tier 7 is terrible with the stock engine. As it's like a Lowe with a dead driver. And the elite turret is bouncy when top tier at times. But still, nothing to rely to much on.

Just get yourself an M4 Sherman mate. Fit the 105mm and blast everything.

Really? I thought tier 6 was ok and tier 7 was good - a keeper if you want a t7 med. Tier 8 Pantera seems a bit meh: highly team dependent with the 357 mm. I'm grinding for the tier 9 which sounds ideal for my preferred play style....

i thought the T9 and T10 were worse than the Skoda's?

Its normal. WG has decided we like being bottom tier most of the time.
