Am going to go down from London on Friday after work and will be at the festival on Saturday and Sunday.

Could meet people for a beer and a curry in Poole on Friday night?

Also last time a bunch of us met up in London first on the friday lunchtime (including the ones who couldn't make it to the festival)

Let me know if anyone is up for doing same again!

Where is a good place to stay with decent parking etc? i'm thinking of going on the Saturday but as an absolute scrub I know nothing about anything. I've got a long old drive so I'll be booking up somewhere for the weekend if I do go.

Are you looking for camping or a room?

There are a few sites for camping around Bovington/Wool, but I have always stayed at Rosewall Camping, in Osmington Mills.

Nice site, with views of the sea,  and a nice pub down the bottom.

Actually, said pub is an inn, and has rooms.  (Smuggler's Inn)

Im considering either. But I'll be checking out the inn first so thanks for that, if not I'll pull out my doss bag and camp it. How far is it from the museum do you use public transport or just jump in someone's car?

I'm staying in Dorchester. Lovely little in. I've stayed there three times and wouldn't dream of a different place

It's a car journey, but not a long one.

That's Lulworth Cove on the south coast there, Durdle Door is halfway between the two.

Good places to visit

Cheers for providing my lazy arse the information, the inn looks quaint I like it. Just need to work on the misses, to be fair if she doesn't come I can get nicely leathered.
