Who really cares if WG are there, tankfest will still carry on with or without them.. Also Nutter you need to send me a pm about campsite etc , I need to plan better for next year.

I'm staying in Dorchester. There is a lovely little hotel there. This will be my third visit to that hotel.

@Cella, I'll be landing at Luton.

camp m8 it's cheaper

I'd love to camp, but it would cost a fortune to bring the camping supplies with me. I will have to "rough" it in a lovely hotel and save the camping for WoT.

I like the optimism that WoT will be here in 2019 :)

Whether WoT will be around is irrelevant. Tankfest will be and the forumites are forever.

It takes less than that.  Plus the Tankfest entrance isn't where you would normally go in to the museum.

I have access to enough camping gear to fill the whole site.  And Malinovka.

Well, I haven't booked my tickets yet, but if you want a better view - my friends and I like to camp at Osmington Mills (http://www.weymouthcamping.com/)

Nice site, nice views, and I'm happy to provide a lift to the tank museum.

Threads like these reawaken my faith in humanity little. Also makes a great change from the usual dross on this forum.

I went to Tankfest three years ago. I may very well go again next year and I think I would very much enjoy putting a few faces to some unusual names.

I'm waiting to see how the next 6 months pan out.

This year I fixed the whole trip  3 weeks ago.

I just don't want to be a disaster tourist :hiding:
