Sick of tired of noob- protection. W

hen we get game mode, where all players have same rules?

Second, this skills- based game mode can also be gold-ammo free.

It's nice to use hours and hours to learn tanks weakspots, angling etc, and then some noob come with mom money, spam gold, no matter what tank you drive, no matter how perfect angle you have, those penetrate anyway, and you can't hit even close where you aim.

I wonder, why noob- protection is much more important for WOT, than keep skilled players happy.

But, with pure skills- based game mode everyone would be happy.

Presumably, as you appear to speak for "everyone", you have asked "everyone" for their opinion? Seems I must have missed that memo.  :sceptic:

I don't understand what the 'noob protection' is that you are ranting about, but skilled players should be able to defeat gold spamming noobs, most of the time anyway.

 

You clearly think you have more skill than some other players, but in a skill based system 'skill' won't matter anyway since everybody else you play will be at the same level of skill, meaning you have no advantage and no way to use your skill. Your WR will go down to 50% because everybody you play has the same skill and every game will be a 50/50 chance of winning or losing. Will you find that a satisfying game to play, will you look forward to standing still and making no progress? I don't think you would like it, and in a game where you can only be average I think you'd soon quit and leave everybody else with the mess you've created.

How do you know that this algorithm isn’t helping you?

Last time someone used that example of noob protection. They had a replay to show for it. All that showed is that the "good" player only went for 70+ degree armor he lacked caliber to overmatch. So the "bad" player won because he was handed a win.. by the good player. Not by WG.

So you want a gamemode with no gold ammo, no RNG, everyone hits dead center each time and where overmatch is the only thing that will save you? Going by your rant that is. That "other game" did that... did not work too well. As then you had to run from half your targets most tanks on that tier, as you can't fight most of them unless you are the top dog on pen on the map. So then.... everyone will only use the one OP tank on that tier for that mode. As nothing else will work vs it. It's like when historical battles was. No one lined up for a stock Hellcat. Everyone wanted to play one of the two Tiger II's allowed. So 99% of the ppl in wait for a battle was in Tiger II's. As that mode had pre set up modules and ammo. So no gold was allowed.
