Come on, just watch the replay yourself.

1. You have the stock turret and an E-75 with APCR can just punch through it frontally, unless he hits the mantlet or the surrounding area.

2. You did not angle enough and by that exposed your rear angled plates everytime you tried to get the gun on target.

257 reverse sidescrap is about finding the right angle between hiding your back and not overexposing your front, just until the enemy realizes he can shoot your cupolas easy/overmatch your turret roof or in case of a stock turret, penetrate it in 3/4 shots. Try it out in a training room before doing it in randoms.

Spoiler

No point in reverse sidescrape with the E-75, the side armor is good enough for you to sidescrape frontaly, and its recomended since your upper plate is very strong

and the tracks will hide parte of the lower plate.

Reverse sidescrape is more often used by russian tanks like the IS-3 or the T-10, and makes sense because of the turret position, by reverse sidescraping

you can indeed get impenetrable angles on those tanks...

Other tank that is sick/trollish to reverse sidescrape is the 257... you can even force a Jpz E100 to actually shot premium rounds and still bounce or ricochet

But OP was in a stock 257. That's the point.

Also JPzE100 can overmatch the sides of 257 so, if it's not a braindead HEAT spammer, the 257 will be dead in 2 shot...

My bad sorry, didn't download the replay.

Also i  didn't knew the jpz E100 could overmatch the 257, perhaps i got extremely lucky when with tracks absorbing the heat

Yep. 257 sides are "just" 45mm thick on the lower part. So 140mm and higher caliber guns can overmatch it. Pay attention to those gun, I had lot of fun in 704 shooting unaware 257. ;)
