I have the tank from before, but the biggest downfall is the shell numbers I have run out of ammo so many times

Wargaming, YOU JUST SOLD THIS ONE! Sell something else. And by the way. If you intend on people buying this tank increase the Ammo capacity to lets say 45 or 50 rounds. I really dont see any meaning in limiting its potential damage capacity...

Really not a gem, more of a crap tank. Completely worthless, you couldn't call it even a collector's item, it's available for sale often enough.

This tank doesn't move, it doesn't have armor and it is has difficulty hitting anything at all. What it does have is a huge tumor on the turret to stop you from using that nice gun depression. Oddly enough that thing doesn't even seem to be a commander's cupola, because this thing has really bad view range. This tank is an xp pinata for the enemy.

What is the difference between forgetting to load amo  and Turan?

 There is no difference.

I think its called a Gem of the week because like a real Gem there are flaws.

Little wrong with the tank untill you compare it to every other tier 5 medium tank.

First the premiums

https://tanks.gg/com...hi-nu-kai~t-34s

Then the none Premiums

https://tanks.gg/com...hi-nu~type-t-34

boy look at that ammo capacity, this would be an average tier 5 medium tank if it had another 10+ rounds

In short, even if you are unicum and even if you have that one in a 1000 lucky game  you actually don't because  you need shells to do damage, which in Turán III you dont have.

A bit of information on the tank:

I've read the blog of the guy who researched the characteristics of the Turan, he gave some insights to the, let's say, interesting shortcomings of the tank. (In case you didn't know: a lot of tanks belonging to smaller nations are researched by independent people, well, fans, and the info is reviewed by WG.)

- The small shell capacity is totally accurate, every contemporary source stated it as 32.

- The tumor on the turret was added to balance the turret with the heavier 75 mm that was mounted. (Turan II had a shorter 75 mm and Turan I had a 40 mm.) No idea why engineers at the time thought this was a good idea (and the sources didn't say), but in all fairness, this was only a single prototype, so maybe they intended to change it or make vision slots in it...

- To be frank, Hungarian tank design was never state-of-the-art, the Turans were too little, too late. A more interesting design would have been the Tas, with its sloped, welded armor and (possibly) KwK 42 L/70 gun. Another interesting vehicle to include would have been the Zrinyi TDs, which, unlike the Turan line, were reported to be effective against the T-34s and KVs advancing on the eastern front.

What I don't understand is why WG didn't do their "balancing" on this tank. They routinely modify characteristics of historical tanks to the point of mounting guns that would have been impossible. Shell capacity, for example, widely varied on the field, as crews tended to cram all the ammo they could in the compartment, sometimes doubling the ammo capacity of a tank. 32 was only the number of shells that could be transported on designated shelfs, it wouldn't even be historically inaccurate to increase it by 10+.

I've played it, not a lot, but I had fun in it. I found the gun to be rather good, of course nowhere near the Chi-Nu Kai's. I'd say the tank performs a bit better than the stats would indicate, but a buff in shell capacity, some soft stats of the gun and/or the manoeuvrability would be welcome. It's not like WG never buffs premiums, right?

All in all, this tank is historically accurate in being meh. But that doesn't make for an interesting premium.

Sorry but for game balance other tanks had their ammo capacity increased! After all this is a game and it is the only thing it actually needs!

Just what the hell does this actually mean ….. please pay £17.00 or £8.00 to Wargame bank account in Cyprus

then just leave the Premium shop good you just payed for the ~ Turán III prototípus

kept under wraps/ dust cover for a sneak peek once in a while? or a battle once every few months

right I see, like an antique tank?

an investment or personnel collection  - So will the game WOT and Wargame be around in the next few decades etc

your prized digital pixel tank increasing in value due to its 'Rarity'

this looks and sounds so STUPID to me … its not even real just digital computer code ~ but its a 'part of a collection'

Thing about stated ammo capacities of tanks is that they are merely the quantity of shells that there are racks for.

Crews sometimes did carry more ammunition.

I remember reading in particular about the German self Propelled guns, being part of the Infantry their job was to support those units.

They often were in action all day so frequently ran short of ammo.

Apparently it was not uncommon for them to head out with extra shells on the floor of the tank where possible you use these first.

In any case this is not a simulation its a game if a tank needs more ammo it should get it.

The type 59 had 34 shells for years after it was removed from sale now it carries 50 they changed it in 9.2.1

I really don't think 40 to 45 shells would make the Turan overpowered.

I have it and it's a fun tank. Crew is from the E50M. Just don't throw you shells and it will work.

But yes once I had to finish the last enemy (in 1v1) by ramming it ;) I wish there was a medal for that  ... :B

I do have it, but don't play it much, maybe they could put a Defender up as a collectors gem, as that is a real rarity:trollface:
