usually codes come in form of leaflets/ cards within the pc box, this is the case for  PC parts not laptops but i guess you can try taking a look in the papers that came with it

Edit: a quick google search took me to this site-> https://www.msi.com/...s-Edition.html  which then leads to  this -> https://register.msi...b_2017_may_wot  so i guess you need to register and enter the serial number of the pc/motherboard to validate and give you the code  ( rough guesses here)

That looks pretty cool

https://www.msi.com/Laptop/GP62M-7REX-World-of-Tanks-Edition.html

But could easily turn into THE MOST EXPENSIVE computer you'll ever buy !!

Happy Tanking

Right now you shouldn't play any tank higher than tier FIVE. You still have to learn the very very basics of the game. Right now, you are a huge burden for every team you are in, especially in your higher tier tanks.

What’s wrong with a 1050 Ti? It’s a very solid card for 1080p

The graphics card is loads better than the stickers. Yeah, yeah, I'm still banging that drum.

performance-wise, it is just a little weaker than a 770 GTX.

the 1060 GTX (standard) has about 40% more performance, about on par with a 980 GTX.

the 1050 will be outdated very quickly.

a 1050 Ti has the same performance as a 960, except it’s super cheap, so being able to play games on high graphics for 150 euros is very very good. And you of course buy a 1050 Ti when you are working with a budget, obviously once the 1050 Ti starts showing it’s age you can easily upgrade. But a 1050 Ti can easily keep up for a bit longer. Besides that, the 1060 3GB which costs about 75 euros more performs like a 970, so one step up, so if you have a bit more to spend... and then there is the 1060 6GB which does perform like a 980 but also costs over 100 euros more than a 1050 Ti. But enough talk about costs as this is about laptops.

But anyways, you can play games on high graphics still with a 1050 Ti as it is a very solid card and you will be able to use it for a while, but yes, it is a budget card, it’s the cheapest gaming card after all and that’s why you buy it, because you have a tight budget :)

Anf heck, my laptop has a 950M, which performs the same as like a 750, but I can still play the newest games on the minimum graphics with more than playable framerates so it will take a while before a 1050 Ti will need upgrading.

ahem... we are talking laptops and you say the 1050Ti can be upgraded later... unless the laptop is a "modular" one, where the graphics array can be swapped, laptop VGA normally CANNOT be upgraded.

So for laptops, it is especially important to buy one with good graphics performance, so the laptop can last last a long time and not just 3 or 4 years.

You did the same mistake with that 950M which is not an old VGA chip but it's just 3 years later, and you are already playing at minimum settings. I got a 980 (not 980M) in mine and can still play everything at 60Hz and ULTRA settings.

Laptops can be upgraded. You just have to look for a DIY video on youtube.

It is mandatory for the SSD and ram you can add (did that on a hp omen last month).

And so usually every part can be replaced (changed a graphic card on my 8 years old dell).

Ok if the connectors changed, but there are some years of lifetime for them. But then you can dump all the laptop.

Would have been cheaper to buy a normal laptop, then buy the IS-2 and 2,000 gold from the premium shop (when the IS-2 is for sale).

Odd to buy a whole new laptop just for those few things

Please read what I wrote again :)

And I can run WoT on high graphic settings at 60 fps, but I use my laptop whenever I’m on the go or don’t have access to my pc in which I use a 1070

majority cant be upgraded, newer ones even have soldered in ram these days. an 8 year old laptop is outside that bracket.

a few Acer ones cant even have the ram switched out as its soldered in, and soldering such tiny chips is difficult enough let alone finding ones to switch them for.

some cant even have their batteries changed...

to any thinking of buying a new laptop: it pays to do some research, check what you can do to it in a few years time

WoT isn't very GPU-hungry.

It runs fine @60 FPS on my 760 GTX in my desktop on 100% render.

anyway... people buying laptops nowadays should buy one with a 1060M
