the map seems to be fair

but we still have the problem of power-creep so balancing tanks would also be required, the balancing department better wake up from its hibernation

..did you just say HD Pearl River?

Spoiler

Why not, Pearl Necklace River was infinitely better.

Even Dragon's ridge had some redeeming qualities.

make what you will but i for one will never go to the open circle now i can't escape the same way

Lights will not be able to decap as easily as no more buildings to shoot and scoot behind

Open field still too small for lights to be affective

No idea why you would want to go into an area you can't get out of?

It's like they want some sort of light/medium fighting fit so they can't annoy the heavies smashing faces in the middle.

As others have said you can't have an open flank on such a small map, if the map was like 1.2km x 1.2km it might actually work.

Those one way drop downs look great... nudge one of your team mates just as he's going over so he goes at an angle not straight forward over the edge and he will roll right over...

Yeah it's atrocious how they are changing the city.

But then again, it's Wargaming and they ultimately only cater to Steve the ret@rded IS-7 driver because he, unfortunately, has the biggest wallet.

He doesn't have to have the intent to go over. He could just be guarding the area playing hulldown with his well armoured turret medium (or perhaps a bottom tiered heavy). Then comes ally Jagdtiger, who is not going to have any of that, and push him over. Now Jagdtiger helped camper to move and can shoot red tank while his friend is trying to get out alive. I mean spotting and advancing on the battlefield.

Ok, so you guys dont like the look of the changes.

So trot over to the "Supertest News" section of this forum and post there. There is a thread for the Karkov map changes, and only 2 of us have bothered to give feedback.

Oh, and a suggestion. If you want to be taken seriously, dont rant and swear, try to be rational and comstructive.

16k games, can't remember when I have last seen unexpected flanking manoeuvres and breakthroughs behind the lines. Which game they're playing? It is not WoT for sure.

Now people can't use the argument of "just flank them"

Yeah.. Well I thought about leaving some lines but thought better of it. One, I don't really know if they even read the threads opened considering late additions to the game. Two, I guess my two cents would be just that. The map seems, in pics, quite the same with little cover deleted and the obvious one-way streets in the southeast, I don't even get why the hell they bothered with it? Just leave it as it was and be merry.

WG can you please stop making, and remaking those ("You go there with HT, you go there with MT, you just find first bush with TD, and you with LT... Well you can go f**k yourself..." ) maps ??? FFS one corridor map on another, is it so hard to make some decent open maps?

Fine if that is the way you feel about it.

But if Wg provide a place to leave feedback and players dont use it, then they can hardly complain that WG dont listen to them.

It might not lead to anything, but my view is at least I tried to let them know I felt the idea of preventing "flanking" via the roundabout (square?) is a bad move.

True that. I might go and look at it again.

Can already see the amount of people that'll die by crashing from driving over the ridges too fast at the start of the game :teethhappy:

I'm no nostradamus, I'll play it when/if it gets released and might thow in a verdict when I see how people play on it after some time. If I do not know how the masses will tend to play on this map it's pointless to whine about it or praise it. I like the one way idea as a concept though, makes you have to think before you move and maybe assess the minimap.
