My ideal tank would have the track base of a Churchill but would be twice as long, twice as wide and would be a minimum of 7ft in height. The reason for Churchill tracks is due to the climbing reputation. The hull would be large enough inside to be comfortable with carpet floors, a sofa, tables, WiFi and a TV. You would even be able to drive the tank whilst sitting on said sofa or alternatively an automated system whereby you simply type in where you want to go and the tank will go there via the best route. There will be room for a small kitchen/bathroom and air con. In the rear, there would be a 3000hp Electric engine which would be powered by a diesel generator (like the one used by James May on Top Gear). The armour would be near impenetrable with 900mm everywhere and would be composite steel with special lightweight plastic attachments for additional protection. The turret would be similarly armoured and would be fully automated and controlled remotely from the sofa. There would be 360 degrees of vision via high tech camera equipment. The would be a choice of three guns to use. The first would be a 340mm howitzer for derping targets, the second would be a long barrelled 180mm main gun for long range engagement and the third would be a minigun for use against pesky infantry that dare get in the way. Behind the turret, there would be a mini runway and a hanger for drones and other recon units (like remote controlled cars).

Granted, but during transit by rail to the frontline, the train and the tank get stuck in a tunnel. :girl:

Well, it would be any tank you like, as long as the commander was Rachael Riley smothered in Marmite...:)

I cant believe it. I literally just described a TOG. Well, why not. I like TOGs. Except my tank is called the TUG.
