I just had a match on Tundra in the Centurion 5/1 which we lost because the enemy team capped us out yet I was inside the cap and the Super Pershing capping even got tracked without being reset.

A match lost that would have been a win for sure. The screenshot shows that I am was inside the cap circle to block the progress but the counter kept ticking until the we lost.

Here is the replay: http://wotreplays.eu...e/4445625#stats

Er, yeah, 3k battles in and you don't understand base capture mechanics...

Blocking the cap only works in Encounter. You cannot block the enemy from capping your base in either Standard or Assault, only Encounter, since it's a neutral base.

As stated above this mechanic only works in Encounter mode aka when there is only 1 neutral base for both teams to contest. In all other modes driving in the cap circle does not interrupt the enemy cap.

Shooting the Super Pershing is irrelevant if he's already gotten his capture points reset, at most this might buy you a second or two but you really need to hit the other tanks inside the cap circle who have accumulated more points for proper reset. In this case it is the E25 that is holding most/all of the base capture points and is staying behind cover to ensure a cap victory.

Your teammates are still camping on the hill, the teams LT's are hunting SPG's instead of securing your base and you are hopelessly late with your reset attempt. All in all a textbook cap win for the enemy team. The only option for them to win at that point was to cap the base and they timed it perfectly.

Well, we have all to learn something.

I didn't know until recently that when you cap and the other team cap first you don't have capture points in the end ... all depends of you tendency to cap or def ..
