On en halluf at the middle ridge there was an is6 player rushing to cap saying that he has capture mission. He rushed down from the cliff but the slippery rocks made him stuck. So i tried to be a kind player and there was 1 enemy tank left so i decided to help him with the thinking of pushing his back and saving him so maybe he would complete his mission. But instead i also stuck with him and dealt 3 continous ramming damage and got an hour of ban. Is this game never going to reward fair play and kindness in any form ? I want a wg staff member to investigate this and fix these areas on certain maps please..

It's not the areas of maps which need fixing, it's the drivers.

I don't know how this is possible ... few weeks ago... a "smart" player in heavy tank and yellow/green WN8 was camping the red line... I was 50m in front of him with SkorpionG... after 3 or 4 minutes I started to ping the map because it was clear that we are gone lose if he is not going to do something... 1 minute later I started to push that flank because I found out is free... in revenge he shot me twice and also pushed me around at least 4 or 5 times.... I think I had ~100 hp.. he still did not get ban... or at least not during the game..

You have to be careful because the system doesn't differenciate between damage done unintentionaly or on purpose.

It's a well know fact and issue.

Dont even bother to write to support.

All you will get is a copy paste saying that the banning and report system is perfect.

Wait one hour, start playing again and dont do that again. Easy

Sometimes you need to question your self first before blaming others.

What do you want to prove with this? How great you are, with pushing somebody first and making him angry? Okay this does still not mean he can shoot you, especially not twice, but you were the one who made him doing that.

If you see that a flank loses, try to solve it yourself. In WoT you never count on teammates!

he is right it's impossible to not notice all the broken textures after the 1.0 patch, plus all the rocks are lubed up, if you barely touch them your tank slide quite badly.

I know that, the thing is these kind of slippery areas are being put there intentionally after 1.0 to disable  exploiting gun depression of some tanks on maps like mines but it always causes idiotic stuff to happen. I know that wg support only know how to give automatic responses but i want to let them know that their own system ban me because of their own mistakes..

Nowhere does he say he pushed the heavy, he said he pushed the flank.  And also earlier said he was in front of the heavy.   :)

Fix it how? Unless you can make a system that can 100% tell the difference between deliberate crushing damage, and "helping" crushing damage. There is no fix.

It was obvious that would happen, why did you drop yourself off the cliff to follow like a lemming in the first place ?

Like fixing those new kind of slippery rocks. And stuck locations.

Easy.

You allow players to appeal a team damage ban.

If successful. No ban.

If not successful, 3-5 day extra ban.

Also, make it waaaay easier to get team damage ban.

Ya I was leaning out to get a shot on some beach bums on Overlord and took just a little bit too much, started sliding and fell off to my death lol. 1 shot of damage, awesome battle... the team still won though so I don't feel too bad about it. Actually I tend to end up sliding down cliffs and into lakes more often than I should but I always think it's not gonna happen. I also get trapped in little nooks only I can somehow manage to stick a tank. :hiding:

As commemorable your actions were, they were quite misguided. Capping an encounter game on El Halluf is very nearly impossible. Especially if you try it early.

If enemy has only a few camping TDs left who are too dangerous to dig out, then you can cap. Under any other circumstances it is complete and utter folly.

It's both. The maps are awful with their extreme and engine killing slopes (that's more about physics, though) and buggy offroad areas.

Would love to have the chaotic ones from after the physics update back.

True. While I take for responsibility for the more obvious detrimental areas of maps where attempts to drive down or across etc is very clearly not gonna work out well, there are some areas of maps where you really have to shake your head as your tank gets grabbed by some tractor beam of death for not much of anything obvious, a slight slope or a tiny rock on the otherwise flat surface and takes control of our tanks.

I'm also not too impressed with the banks of many river crossings and lakes where you clearly manage to get the crew compartment and most of your tank up and out of the water yet the countdown continues and we drown.

On a side note, I was recently playing an arty (gross, I know), and got TKd by a pair of Panzer 1Cs. Their platoon mate had already turned blue and immobile for some other offence, but for some reason they were still trying to drown him. When I suggested they might do something useful instead, they ganged up and drowned me instead. Both turned blue. Their favourite word was "Kurwy", with multiple exclamation marks.... It's easy to overlook sometimes that the biggest problem with the game is probably the people playing it.
