I get it. People must learn the line and tanks and how they work to see the strenghts and flaws of them. The better you know the tank, the better you will play (most of the times), the more exp you will earn, the easier is to unlock new modules and improve the tank. This is common sense in World of Tanks.

Now let's be reasonable. Tanks like the Centurion (which costs itself 165k exp) need 190k exp in order to be fully elited. Then, the Centurion Action X will "only" cost" 180k to be unlocked because the most of the exp is already grinded through the modules.

AMX 30 costs 200k exp (tier 9) to unlock and after that people will have to grind 170k exp while stock most of the times to elite it. Than only 180k exp for the tier 10.

Why that? The game is supposed to be played to have fun. How can someone have fun when they have to grind 200k exp stock? Tanks should be played more games once fully upgraded, not while upgrading it. Myself and I believe most of the people would rather grind 280k exp for the tier 10 while only having to grind 30 or 40k exp for the modules. Not the other way around. There's a moment when people will just give up on a tank because they are not having fun anymore because they can't be competitve.

So, what they do when they reach that point? Credit card -> gold -> free exp -> fully elited. And voilá, let's play now a couple of games enjoying the 20€ well spent.

Couldn't WG find a better way to monetize this crap while also not impeding people from having fun without doing so?

It always "amuses" me to grind to fully equip whatever tank only to find top gun is stock gun on next tier....

Then you start all over again:)

I would be more than happy to pay a 1 time fee to avoid stock grinds. Gold & free xp is a *edited* and way to expensive imo. Premium time to grind faster is not a good option for the casual player either.

Say 20 euro to unlock all modules on a tech tree (with xp of modules added to the requirement to unlock the next tank. Sounds about right to me so WG price would likely be three times that...

Show me a tank which needs 200k to go from stock to a reasonably comfortable state?

Save your free exp, unlock the most important modules first.

Take that tier IX AMX 30 you mentioned.  The first gun is unlocked through the heavy line at tier 8 so that takes 0 exp, the 2nd gun doesn't need the turret, the 2nd engine has the same power as the 1st.  You might need to put enhanced torsion bars on instead of the upgraded suspension but it's perfectly playable with no grind at all.

The Churchill GC will most certainly feel like it.
