Personal reserves and premium missions

I purchased the dmax germand td which came with missions (x5 xp for each victory) and +300%xp crew reserves and I have hundreds of other reserves too. What is the best way to maximise these items for xp? Is it as simple as launch the 300% reserve and go win games, or is there another way to max xp with other reserves or bonus weekends?

 

 

edit: A mod (or automod) edited my post and didn't explain why, i'm guessing because the name of the tank is a nickname for male genitalia?

I don't think reserves stack with these bonuses, except premium account. The exception is crew XP, where you can get great gains by stacking with daily bonuses.

a) daily 2x, 3x, 5x or whatnot

b) combine with xp reserve

c) play premium tank. 

 

And yes, reserves stack with doubles etc.

personal reserv is rigged, if you use, you lost all games.

I was using a 100% XP reserve here and only gained the base XP of 1610, rather than base XP x3.

You need to buy a fort knox, they should work better after that.

But yes premium tank bonuses also stack. So what I like to do is activate crew, free xp and credit reserves, and have a session playing just premium tanks. Then use XP reserves and just play tanks tahat I am grinding.

Turns out I was wrong. They don't stack.

Are you sure you had a combat XP reserve going because normally it states in the end panel, you see where your credits are it says "personal reserves bonus". The missions are called 5x XP, so that is why you only got 400% extra rather than 6k but you should have got some more for a reserve as well. Also looks like I may have been incorrect about premium vehicle bonuses for XP, I will check at some point.

Well for starters there is no 300% tank-xp reserve. I suspect you used a 300% crew-xp reserve, wich does not show in the post-battle screen.

And the x5 mission worked perfectly too, you get x5 your base xp not x5 your base xp in addition to your base xp (BC that would be x6).

 

Base xp: 1211

+ x4 base xp: 4844

=x5 base xp: 6055

add the premium tank bonus and everything adds up

 

As for the 300% crew-xp, I'm not too sure how they work exactly, but I think they take the end result of the xp-calculation (6418), give you 300% bonus and reward it to your crew. Wich should be 25672 crew-xp per member in your case. (again, not 100% sure on that one)

You'd get

1200 base * (300%+500%) = 9600. Except that there is no 300% xp reserve, that was a crew-xp reserve most likely. So you're just getting the 500% bonus from your mission, resulting in 6000 xp, plus the bonus for premium tank.

It depends on what you actually want to do


If you want to just train crews then make sure all your premiums have equipment ready if you don't use a garage mod and load the crew skill boost and if you have one might as well use silver or free XP boosts too as premium tanks get more of each of those then play them to death. And this wont be popular, but if YOU want to maximise YOUR return on them if a battle is looking like a dead loss YOLO and start the next, no point wasting extra minutes on a game youre going to lose


but only play each tank till you get the x2 then move the crew to the next premium and do their home tank too for the extra x2 with boosters


If you don't have silver or free XP boosts you can use an XP boost, which will also increase the crew training, but if you don't have as many of those then theyre better saved for grinding, then do the same thing, but with your TT tanks where you load the XP boost and do the x2s for each tank and move on to the next


If you have crap loads of XP boosts though throw one in with the crew booster and play premium tanks one after the other for the x2 which is the fastest way to train crews short of doing the exact same thing on tanks that also have x5 XP boosts for a win as well, combining the x5, x2 XP booster and x3 crew booster can make the lower crew skills at least fly up, more so if you also have mentor running and ACT turned on and only want to train one crew member like a radio operator or extra gunner or loader for a new tank


Then put a good crew in with the one new crew member and watch the first couple of skills ramp up really quickly
