Are there any crew skills for arty that are of any use outside of; BIA, Camo, 6th Sense and Off road driving?

A lot go for clutch braking.

Smooth ride and snapshot will both improve your aim time in the same way as a vstab does by starting with less dispersion.

Adrenaline rush because if you get hit and survive you will probably have little enough health left.

Scooba diving.

On a more serious note - I'd go with snap shot and smooth ride, maybe after camo. This depends on a line you play, French arties tend to be sneaky.

A lot of the Soviet Arty have narrow gun arcs so snap shot isn't really worth it for them.

Commander:

Sixth Sense

Gunner:

Snap Shot

Driver:

Smooth Ride / Clutch Braking

Loader:

Adrenaline Rush

Later you need "Brothers in Arms" for all.

Smooth Ride is for position changing and Adrenaline Rush may help you if some one Counter you and cant kill you.

Thanks for this. Although I think snapshot is pretty useless for arty with narrow gun arcs, so what would you go for the gunner assuming you have BIA and Camo?

Than you got only "Designated Target" (in acarde view) because "Deadeye" works only with AP, APCR or HEAT (only lefH Arty got them).

Basically its nothing, if you're playing soviet arty. After BIA and Camo, the third skill is as near worthless as its possible to get.

They seriously need to have a look at the skills tree as opposed to releasing a new tank every other month.

Snap Shot Skill does apply to gun traverse movement on turret-less vehicles too.

So it is to choose first imo.

Recon on commander is a good pick.

Situational Awareness Skill for the radio operator for view range too.

I choose Controlled Impact Skill for the driver, I am rammed a lot when last versus 3 or 4 enemies.

Snapshot is still more use than any of the other gunner skills.  Even with a small arc you still get some increase in dispersion.  And a bit less of not much is better than no improvement at all.

Sexton I is the only one left with Gold AP shells too "tier III". A premium 90% forget even is still around.  More HE pen then the tier 8 UK arty. Then a set of normal AP shells and gold AP for 71 and 92 pen. Even so. I would not go for that skill anymore for arty regardless.
