Ok. I will just give you my 2 cents. I have played through all of them and reached their corresponding Tier X tanks.

Panther 2. Just your average Tier 8 medium, that leads to a very good Tier 9 medium being the E50. E50 is a definite keeper. E50M is a solid Tier X as well, but has a huge profile and lacks a bit in dpm.

Indien Pz. Again your average Tier 8 german medium, that gets you to the Leopard PTA and Leopard.  You get an utterly horrible stock grind for Leopard PTA and even then the tank because of its paper armor is not really viable in the current corridor meta. You really count yourself lucky when you get an open map.. Leopard has sadly been completely power creeped in Tier X and has the lowest winrate of any tier X tank.

T44. It is an average Tier 8, that you need to unlock the T54 which is a solid Tier IX medium (he, it is russian so no compliants there) and leads to the Object 140 and T62A. Object 140 is still regarded as the best Tier X med that you can get through the tech tree. So, very viable choice.

Tiger P. Most people hate it, I kinda liked it. Vk100.01P is slow but has good armor and a hard hitting gun. Almost indestructible as top tier, XP pinata as bottom tier (which you will be in about 75 % of the games with the current MM).. VK45.02B is a beast tier IX. DPM is lacking but the frontal armor holds up really well if you can hide lower plate. IMHO one of the go to Tier IX heavies. Tier X still on the fence about that not really in the meta at the moment.

E75. Very solid Tier IX heavy. Definite keeper. However, E100 doesn't work in Tier X. So, no reason to get that one.

T29. Best Tier VII tank by a mile. T32 is no longer viable in the game. M103 is good but average, T110 E5 is out of the meta as well.

Conway. One of the worst grind I can remember on Tier IX.. That gun just doesn't hit anything and everything that sorts of spits at you will do damage. FV4005 is like playing the lottery.. Either you one shot a full HP med for 1750 damage a couple of times in a single match or you do 0 damage in an entire match becuz you get spotted just 15 seconds after the battle starts and 15 secs later it is back to garage. In that case it really lives up to its nickname (Thrashbarn)..

Looks like I need to get past tier 8 on some lines to get to the above average tanks. I really like the Tiger 2 so was hoping the E75 was the same but better.

Looks like the T44 and E75 are a must .I think I'll only get the T29 and stop there . Panther 2 but I'm going to research everything before buying, the tier 7 Panther looks better at a tier lower untill you get the big gun on the Panther 2. Others don't know yet, I like the Charioteer and may stop with  its big gun once resurched .

The Charioteer definitely needs the big gun. If you don't like that one, just for your own sanity stop the grind there.. It will not get better.

Was thinking that myself .Seen a lot of Conway's and the Barn get distroyed, they can do some damage but I may not be good enough to make them work .

they're all terrible..

all those lines have awful tanks in them as the major (non) selling point.. P2, E75, T29 (if you go the M6 route) Tiger P (is itself the terrible point) T-44 (the T7 and T-44 are both awful)

I don't know about the Ind Pz..

Conway I tried but im still on the Firefly. the T7 and T8 seem alright, so this would be the line id pick out of your choices

I have all the tanks listed below the ones in the pole and to be honest enjoy playing all of them but at tier 8 with the MM the way it is and the amount of xp these tanks need to research I want to talor my choices a bit . T7 Chalanger is a beast with the 32 lb gun.

I so want that E75, but have to grind through the tiger 2, which I am not looking forward to.

To be fair the Tiger 2 can bounce some shots better than Tiger 1 but against tier 10 it can be difficult

I like the conway in some ways better than the charioteer it depends on which of the 2 guns you can get to work for you.

The temptation is to take the bigger gun but I find most games the stock gun works better, even though I have seen replays of players decimating enemy teams and carrying the game using the 5.5 inch gun.

I do better with the 120mm, double the rof and very good pen with ap and apcr works for me better than a slower rof and better damage per shot.

Problem with all these support type tanks is just that if the shielding tanks die so do you, though you can often survive trading shots 1 on 1 you just cannot do it twice in a battle.

The Thrashbarn ;) not sure I am waiting for a crew training discount to start playing it do have the FV215b 183 which has the same gun and that's a lot of fun.

It's expensive but Tiger 2 with mostly gold does OK. Just keep your distance and you can pen most things...

Out of OPs list I can only recommend T29 as it's a complete hull down party.

Exploring Lights and Meds instead of HTs may improve OPs quality of life...

Out of the lines listed what are worth researching further and what would you stop. Tanks listed are being researched at the moment.

Panther 2

Indien PZ

T44

Tiger P

E75

T29

Conway

Even when the thread is older, maybe my opionon helps

Panther 2 - After this comes E50, which is a very fun tank (sometimes expensive because the APCR is so much better) - stop here, E50M is not that enough upgrade for Tier10, even if i like it too

Indien Panzer: I would not go further, even if the PT A was (when fully upgraded, most important is 2nd turret though) a good tank. Unfortunately you must fully aim all your shots or you will miss.

T44: Go for 430 and 430U, both are VERY Strong and in good Hands OP (430 even stronger Tier to Tier). I would not go the 140 Line anymore, its currently a bit outdated.

Tiger P: VK P is very well armored and can do all bounce missions. Its slow but ok. I would stop there. I even did ok in T10 Matches with him. Mäusschen felt very average after the VK, Maus is still ok for Randoms, but when you have no clue about armor angling or good enemies you are just a HP Pinata (but this is the same for the whole line, but Tiger P was definitely the worst)

E75: For now stop here, E75 is a very good Tier9 Heavy. E100 is not worth it nowadays

T29: Highlight of the whole Heavy Line, dont go further.

Conway: Highlight is the Challenger, but 4005 can Oneshot (But this tank is VERY Skill dependend because of no armor and no Camo). Charioteer and Conway are not my favourites.

Edit: Just to give an idea - i didnt play T44 (researched 140 and 430U via light line, as it was possible in the old days) and Indien (researched Leo1 via Light Line). Have driven all other tanks. T110E5 is my onliest Tier10 i ever sold, just because the nerf killed him (like the Grille, but Grille looks so different - i like it just in my garage)

Definitely get the Russian mediums through the T-44 first
