No really . I'm having a fab time. Just bought a tier 7 Challenger and its feckin awesome fun. Had some great games in my luchs recently, also having a lot of fun in my 13-57 and just 3 marked my 12t.   Yes I know some stuff sucks in WOT but if it was as shite as people say then there are plenty of other games out there( NO MANS SKY is now finally good, and Astoneer is brilliant)

Right chaps , I'll leave you with that. If there is anyone else remotely not wanting to slit their wrists and kill all the wargaming staff...good on ya.  Look at this way...Its free to play, its got tanks and you can find a way to play this game with a smile on your face . Tier 8 though ..Nah .

Night.

Woohoo...Thats 2 of us.

I think 32 years in retail has taught me a different perspective on life. A computer game with issues seem like a piece of piss in comparison :)

The game has it's bad sides and it's good sides and thanks to the clan i have 200 reasons to keep coming back and a lot of complaints are just whine posts. There are many broken tanks but what breaks the game for me is the amount of bad players ( and i'm not talking about new players )

Most people are addicted to the game and keep coming back for more because it’s no game really like it.

That doesn’t really excuse wargaming in any way for all the bad decisions they have made and keep making.

I’m a period wot player myself and I’m also enjoying the game from time to time.

So let’s be positive;)

Depends on your playstyle

Decent gameplay can still make positive credits on tier 10. U just need to avoid getting killed early and dont shoot gold ammo and ull be all right.

Plus u dont need to play high tiers to have fun. There are lots of tanks at any tier that can be fun to drive with.

Well. Whenever I start the game, I have fun for a short amount of time. If I don't have fun anymore, I stop playing and do something else. Simples. The joy of having actual hobbies. Or a job.

Most people don’t play the game because it’s fun all the time, but more for progression and improvement.

Fun as the only reason to play just don’t work for me.

Good for you. Ya I really liked the Challenger a lot, it's the best tier7 medium tank in the game right now.

If you're enjoying the Challenger then I wish I was on the same happy pills you are on.

Otherwise, yes.  WoT is an excellent game.  Often drowned out by the incessant whining of those who think they should win more, and who want the game changing to suit themselves, are the contented players.

Its a fun game. I think a lot of the negativity/whining is because it could be better still.

I am hardly enjoying WoT in the slightest at the moment. A combination of meh! (or just awful) vehicles and awful teams with bottom tier MM a LOT is destroying all the fun for me right now.

SU-100M1. I never wanted to go down this line, but I had done all that I could do with the Obj 704. I was never able to attain that all-important 50% WR, so this went. I tried the 268 and I will never, ever touch that EVER again. So- second Soviet line it was.

The vehicle is not bad, and the all-important gun has 212mm penetration, but it simply cannot stand up to the punishment of constant tier VIII and IX matches. Ironically, as top tier I seem to struggle even more. The responsibility that is placed on my shoulders means that when I try and carry a weak team, I end up putting this TD into situations it cannot handle. Either way, the SU-100M1 is not on my current list of potential keepers.

T28 Prot. I did not want to play this TD even though I want to try the T30. When it received a speed buff, I thought I'd give it a go. It also gave me the opportunity to research the T28 because the T25 AT had 25,000 XP locked onto it which I wanted to convert. I DESPISED the T25 AT and abandoned that grind a long time ago. All I can say is- how awful was this thing to play BEFORE the speed buff, and how did anyone stand it long enough to get the T30?

It has a decent gun, it has respectable armour, but both pale into insignificance in almost constant tier X matches. Ironically, I have only just finished a tier VI to VIII battle in this, and I really can't recall the last time I had one. Yesterday I checked my WoT Assistant app. It showed that I had killed only 13 or 14 tier VI tanks in about 175 matches. Obviously, I faced tier VII and VIII in those rare battles, but I think it gives some indication of how few tier VI battles I have had.

Without mobility, it has to rely on armour. Against tier X? Nah!

And finally, the FV207. OK, so it is arty. I am only playing arty with a view to getting PMs complete, and I have very nearly finished the SPG missions for the Object. Ironically, I think I need to go back to the rapid fire of Bert to complete SPG-4-12 to stun for 200 seconds. It is not happening at tier VIII. The flat trajectory of this SPG does not offer anything to cheer about, and the damage it does whether it hits or not is nothing short of a joke. I am playing this one purely to Elite and then it is going.

So I am not really enjoying WoT at the moment and really need to decide how to continue. Tier VII appears to be my skill ceiling, and I think that I am going to try and play up to this in the future- PMs (and other missions excepted).

Nice to get that off my chest. I am glad you're enjoying yourself, OP. :teethhappy::honoring:

Is this thread real or only an optical illusion?
