Why is there never make a choice to a three option server, many games have die hard and cheat servers or a realistic server where every one know what they have to expect.

Now there is so long the game exsist the forbidden mods or cheats discussion and WOT has put time and resources in the game to clean it up, many players did leave the game early becaurce the head start many players with they mods or cheats, WOT did there for collect less money ;-) what think the CEA or Share Holders? losing money

I never did hear any sound of the WOT team so here on the formum maby some one knows how to deliver this.

or maby other players don't want this.

Sure that has been mentioned many times over the years and just ignored. One argument was, how can you keep one server cheat/mod free when WG can't do it with just one server.

Why would you use a mod that gives you an unfair advantage against other players that have the same mod?

If you seal-clubbed less and actually learned the game,

you would know what cheats can and cannot do in a server sided game.

OP = eleventh most played tank with 556 battles is a tier I.

OP - spend less time seal clubbing and more time learning basic game mechanics.

Also you realise in a server side game there are very few client side cheats.

Also if you want to play WoT and guarrantee no cheats the servers already exist and have done so for years.

Enter the ESL contested game servers, where you have to run the ESL Wire program (which stops any modifications to WoT).

Or you could grow up and stop blaming mods every time someone hits you.

If it was that easy to ban forbidden cheats/mods then why would WG make a server just for cheats when they could just ban them from all servers?

Didn't really think that through did you?

Because to make that happen. They need to rework the game from the ground up for a mod free client, inc the game engine. And have its own server. As just making a mod free server, and toss up a client for it doesn't help. When the way the engine is built up, you can put the mod files directly in the res folder overwriting the original garage file or sight or even sounds etc. This still works for most mods without the need for a rework. As that's how mods worked before res_mods, or the mod folder came.

If it was that easy, WG would have done it ages ago for the live server. It's easier for ESL because it's in a controlled environment with only a few players running the ESL anti-cheat etc pr game. And not 100 000 players at any time on EU. So they can more easily check each player. It's not done via the client or the server. It's basically a program each player installs that scans the game client's configs and files that are not supposed to be there and sends it to the guy that checks it. Problem with it is, that it's apparently easy to fool it or even force a shutdown on it so it sends nothing interesting back. As one was banned last year for just that, not for mods directly. Thus why it's not on live. As they can't control it the same way. From what I got from it when ELS and WG talked about it last year.

YES

ESL competition play requires you to download a program called "ESL Wire".

World of Tanks will not run with any modificiations with ESL Wire, you are forced to play vanilla no mods.

So player or team, in any ESL match is no cheat.
