Progetto has:

Cheaper Shells (same gun, why they cheaper?)

10 more viewrange (thats ALLOT! when you factor in other skills stacking)

0.05 faster shell interclip (again WHY? its the SAME GUN)

0.02 better bloom on ALL hidden stats. (just kick the pantera while your down)

1 MORE gundep (while being a smaller lower profile tank and not a GIANT stupid panther hull)

the only thing Progetto has WORSE is.. a tiny bit of mobility.. thats it.... THATS ALL! this is disgusting! why the hell should a giant panther hull which is LESS CRAMPED than a tiny progetto hull, be WORSE soft stats than a tiny progetto hull?! why the blatent P2W? cant you sell none P2W tanks or something? must you always **** it up and make the premium better to bleed people's wallets for serbs moonbase?

Why cant you make a DIFFERENT kind of Pantera instead of this blatent DOWNGRADE BS you keep feeding people. the progetto should have been the dam tech tree tank not this crappy panther clone that everybody hates! NOBODY LIKES THE PANTHER HULL, IT SUCKS! ITS MASSIVE, BOXY, PAPER AND CRIPPLES YOUR GUNDEP ON HILLS! BUFF THE PANTERA TO PROGETTO LEVELS! STOP THE P2W ****.

Look at how many people play the progetto and how many times you seen the Pantera. literally nobody plays the WEAKER tank because its better at the tech tree. that and it prints credits coz its a premium. but why play the tech tree at all? its not DIFFERENT! just WORSE!.

That the Progetto is slightly better is unfortunate, but it's probably in our best interests not to buff what is already the strongest tech tree Tier VIII Medium.

No, as i clearly said. the panther hull as a whole sucks in this game. unless its SkoprionG but that has a TD gun mounted on it and it goes stupidly fast.

The decision to make the tank most of us could only get with real cash stronger than its techtree counterpart was hardly unfortunate, it was deliberate and in line with contemporary WG policies of escalating their 'arms race' beyond anything acceptable. As usual, most of the playerbase not caring means they will get away with it again.

EDIT

Just made a comparison on tanks.gg out of curiosity. The Progetto 46 advantages over the Pantera are only slight (the more noticeable one is ground resistance and 0.02 better dispersion), and most likely camo since the Pantera is basically a bootleg Panther. Whatever other differences there are, they are far more pronounced in favor of the Pantera than they are for the Progetto (again, excluding ground resistance).

Well the Progetto 46 is in the shop again and this I went for it, I was going to grind the Pantera if I ever got around to it, but hey another tank i will suck in but I am a suckle for premiums.

Now that i go both tanks since i grinded the Pantera to full...

I can say they are similar in gameplay style since mechanics but they are a world apart in overall concept wich is a good thing and gives a diferent twist in the play style.

Pantera pails to progetto only cause of that hull n small turret, since i struggle to aim at some targets when i need to depress the gun, also cause of the panther like hull the gun is set higher wich causes problems in gun handling, but the only real diference i see that makes me like the progetto more is the fact its premium and as such gives me more credits n XP per game, but it is wonderful to be stuck in a battle and die before it ends, for one reason or another and can jump into a very similar tank that performes about the same without changing gameplay all together.

Pantera is a very nice tank and been playing it alot now, as much as progetto, if u know how to play with that autoreloading mechanics, they even up to each other.

1 degree gundepression is a lot and a lot of small changes stack, to say the difference is minor is just plain wrong.

Same thing is T44-100 vs T44 regular and WG is wondering why people stop paying.

And the Progetto is getting a Buff in 1.10 by getting the equivalent of gun rammer reload speed without having to equip one

It needed around 1.4k base xp when I aced it.
And it doesnt tell is it op or not, how much xp you need to ace it, it all depends how much and how good players have fought in that tank past 2 weeks.
1131 xp was needed to ace 103B couple weeks ago, and that thing is awesome td, but apparentally it's not so much played.
And amx 13 57 I managed to ace, when i got 1609 base xp round. And that thing is broken in B

Usually more XP needed = better tank
