Hi, ALL. I've recently got myself a decent headset. All is well when testing on my pc, everything fine when plugged in for WOT. However on receiving an invitation to platoon, can hear players no problem but cannot speak to them. I tried using the normal "Q" key to chat and "LEFT SHIFT" key  as required.

Any help would be grateful.

Respect to ALL,Cheers

:)

Are you talking about the in-game voice chat? Gee, I didn't know anybody was using that:)

I think you need to activate your microphone in the game settings.

Yep,  both you and the other player need to have voice chat turned on for it to work.

Most people keep it turned off because it is terrible.

In reality it isn't bad, but sensitivity(gain) is turned up way, way to high by default.
You need to turn it down to 10% or less sp that it sounds normal, and no-one knows to do that.

???

Have you tried it?

The default setting causes the waveforms to be truncated, and it sounds terrible.

But as there is no self listening, it's not easy to tell how bad your own audio stream is.

I remember Circon doing TB where the whole team only used the in game voice chat. It was hilarious!!!
