Hello,

I use AVG antivirus and I have noticed very recently that it is flagging up saying that a virus was stopped (thankfully). This has only occurred at the end of a match in World of Tanks, I'm a little concerned that WoT might have some kind of exploit perhaps?

Anyway, hopefully no one else gets caught out by this. Keep those antiviruses up-to-date!

This.

Stop using shitty mods that are infected with malware, viri, etc.

Chances are that its a cheatmod as well, so you'd be better off to stop using them entirely.

I have AVG and no virus messages. Try using Aslains Modpack. As other people have said it sounds like you have exploit in whatever mods you have loaded up.

Been a few topics regarding this. And it's simply mods with backdoors from Russian sites exploiting the web reader file that shows pages and content in your garage, store and clan page. So clean them out, and use mods from the WG portal. Issue solved.

Well, world of tanks has been known to connect to shady sites itself. There is a report on the forums where cef_browser_process.exe (embedded browser of world of tanks, used to display store content and more ingame) established connections to sites blacklisted by antivirus companies. One of these  sites has been removed by russian government in between, afaik. I think it was clemy.ru - however, wargaming never commented what data world of tanks was downloading from that domain.

However, in case mods are using cef_browser_process.exe as well. Then it was certainly not wargaming but the mod that was connecting to clemy.ru
