Two fresh locales are ready for battle and some old ones have been revamped and reworked

Looks pretty good I like mixed maps part open part city.

 

One request though can you please attempt to increase the number of Desert maps.

The balance of Summer Winter Desert is way off, Winter is easy enough as most temperate areas could have Snow but desert maps are a rarity in this game.

 

Doesn't have to be all sand dunes just a place to use my desert camo and maybe run a desert campaign occasionally.

I guess new maps are more important than fixing the 3-5-7, and all the other problems the game currently has. :ohmy:

wow, adding a pile of rocks is considered a map rebalance in 2018.

I love how they glossed over what makes Mines a bad map.... THE *edit HILL

 

Just add ramps going up the hill from both sides of the map to give both teams equal opportunities fighting for the hill. As it stands right now whichever team has the faster or non autistic mediums / lights usually wins.

Plus unless they adjusted the south spawn location in the Encounter version it's still broken 95% of the time or better still remove the Encounter version of this map (or at least tier limit to less than 7).

First the Test Server

~ why oh why when it a new map testing on the test server

do we get OTHER maps we already dam well know AND are of zero interest on coming ro the Test Server! wasting our time with this

need to see & try the NEW maps 

 

 

other than that the obvious ~

 

Mines - should be limited to Tier 7 maximum only its too Small  (unless map is increased in size & Hill/ Mine deleted or flattened a lot to make the 'hill' not the single most important part of the game 

 

Province - still just 2 x 700m long corridors separated by a huge valley of emptiness aka simply wasted space (again

 

Minsk - we will see wont we WG! ~  hardly wait another City Map (sarcasm 

 

Pilsen - yes!! much better at long last! a big THANK YOU

 

Studzianki - seems alright a bit overly gloomy and well kinda empty , we will see

Dude, the maps are without a doubt the NUMBER ONE ISSUE in this game. Ranked just proofed that once again. 

 

A shame that the biggest crap maps are not concerned by the next patch: Live Oaks, Fjords, Malinovka and Mannerheim. Those maps are pretty much autolosses when spawning on the wrong side vs a competent team.

 

Other maps are just crap designs...Tundra comes to mind. 

 

MM sucks, but it's balanced and the same for all of us. However, spawning on a side which puts you severely in a disadvantage sucks even more.

I have a memory of seeing just that. Pretty sure it was a WG made test change as well.

You can adjust Province as much as you want, its still going to be worst map after Dragon Ridge. Just remove it for good.

All maps are welcome, but I see that all of the latest maps (and some older additions) are summer or winter. We didn't had any desert maps for ages. The upcoming ghost city will be for randoms or only for team battles?

I managed 40 minutes on the test server

 then the hordes of Gold Spamming Yolo & lemmings fast dying RU players made it impossible to continue

 

however!

Minsk seems not as bad as I had thought ~  its 1000% better than the complete utter crap that is Paris/ Rubicon

you actually do have flanking options yes really :)

& TD position well sort off, but far better than crapper Paris with TDs stick in a bush scared to move that's Paris HT paradise *edit everyone else 

 

Minsk is nothing like that, thank god

it is lol these piles of rocks can cover perfectly some vehicles

One question what is the HIND mi 24 doing in the WW2 (Minsk map) Seriously a HIND mi 24 in a WW2 so what is next alien walker ore a star destroyer LOL

Lol i admit I was a bit taken aback by that, maybe a nod to new tier levels for more modern tanks in future, also as improbable as the crashed Zeppelin on Redshire, and the one in the air, i think they borrowed those idea's from WoW's.

 

Maybe attack helicopters will be the new arty, :trollface: , just imagine the hate then, lol, it sort of worked in FL, maybe something else to look forward to in the future.

 

Otherwise well done WG for making some new maps and bringing a old one back.

Oke, so I get why you guys changed Province to tier IV-VII only, but why didn't you do that to mines aswell? but then I-V

Yep, they should either:

 

- Remove it completely.

- Make it cost the same as standard ammo.

- Completely revamp it, give all ammo types a special purpose and make all ammo cost the same.
