With the newly introduced day/night cycle in the WG Anniversary themed garage, I figured it would be very nice to have our regular garage switch between daytimes as well. Since the environment exists of forest, there are heaps of possibilities. I have summarised some potential options.

For the sake of clarity, I have marked all location-specific ideas in the images found in the spoiler below.

Spoiler

In addition to the location-specific suggestions, I have also set up a list of small things that could make it all prettier.

Environmental changes:

- The guy chopping wood is gone and left a neatly stacked pile of wood behind;

- The truck that's driving up and down with goods is parked and a large pile of supplies and crates are gathered at the back of the camp;

- Replace the sunrays with rays of moonlight;

- Have a small group of soldiers pass by every so often as they patrol around the campsite;

- Add some additional low-light spotlights or add oillanterns;

- Have small swarms of light bugs roam around the camp;

- Add a guard at the barrier and have a jeep with people drive in and out;

If anyone has more ideas or suggestions, please post them here!

With the newly introduced day/night cycle in the WGFest themed garage, I figured it would be very nice to have our regular forest garage switch between daytimes as well. This could entail:

- Additional campfires / lightsources around the camp;

- Moonlight shining through the trees as the sun is during daytime;

- More parked vehicles around the camp (as during daytime there is a truck driving up and down);

- Crickets and burning wood sound effects;

I'd like to know what others think of this idea and if they have any suggestions or comments about it. Perhaps we'll be able to make a full concept for the developers and designers to look at =)

Post away!

I like the idea. How else could we make a visual distinction between night and day in the garage? think props, light sources, etc...

Let's see if we can come up with something cool to pass to the devs!

Day/night changes in regular garage would be great!

Also, random weather changes would be nice.  Clear weather most of the time, sometimes cloudy, foggy, or rainy (seeing the tank wet in garage would be something new!), and visual elements like people and fireplaces wpwou be changed.

And while we're at it, maybe night battles? Always clear weather is becoming a bit dull.

Would be nice to have the lights of whatever tank you have selected on as well.

But id love to have this cycle IN GAME as well, not just in the garage.

Have we got any more ideas for props and environmental changes for the garage?

Still looking to make this a thing. Anyone got any additional suggestions or supporting comments?
