Love this tank so much, only tank ive had that can peg tanks reliably at full speed. Wicked gun, averaging 3 kills a game, new favourite scout. Just beating the French tank because it shoots so well on the move. Crew aint even at 100% yet

Not a scout... what what what???

You probably meant to say it is the ONLY scout in the game...

P.S. In my view a scout spots targets. It has the best viewrange of the tier 5's (402m)

Yes, it's just not as agile and fast as a T-50-2. It indeed is a scout.

So it seems you havent tried the T50 line. Both T50 are rabbits on crack. Compared to the russians the chaffee is a brick.
I have all three t5 lights an i realy miss the speed in the chaffee. Even the 2801 reach around 70kmh.

I really can`t agree with you  :)
The chaffee`s speed and manuverability are quite important but, it is more of a brawler than a scout, see
I play mine by waiting for 30 seconds and then going for the kill.
your job in the chaffee is to annoy and flank the enemies to the death
U can dmg a maus from the back for 100 hp with the second cannon, and its high survivability just makes all that easier.
so the point is that, the speed loss is irrelevant if u use the chaffee to its full potential :Smile-izmena:

you have to play chaffee as you would play e8

you can scout but keep in mind that you are easy to hit because of your not so great speed (compared with other scouts) and your height but in a brawl you are a monster

i recommend playing it in platoon of 3 chaffee's...it's a horror what they can do in such a platoon

The only bad thing (in my opinion) about the chaffee is the size and uglyness of the top turret that is required for the top gun that it can use, haven't tested it but it would seem quite likely that the higher size (due to turret) lowers your 'stealth'  rating but... it's extremely fun to drive ;)
I know its a bit late reply but in case you didnt found it yet there is a  mod to make look you 2nd turret as the stock one wich at least it would not make your eyes burn :P
