Hi!

In real when a tank is firing, a huge muzzle flare is visible...why is this not visible in wot????

You could still be unspotted but the muzzleflare must be visible for other.....

As it is now a tank can stand behind a bush shooting all day if good camo value.....

Let's talk reality...

Barrels that don't hit anything.

Instant repairs.

Crew brought back from the dead.

Markers above tanks.

60 ton vehicles disappearing 100m away.

Outlines around tanks.

Hit points.

Artillery firing without digging in.

And- for that matter- SPGs so slow that they wouldn't be able to keep up with the units they are supposed to support.

Sixth sense lights.

I'm sure that there's more, but it's a start.

It's a flash actually, muzzle flash.

And I hate to break it to you (although PowJay has broken you in already I suppose), but there are many unrealistic elements in WoT currently (with no reason to believe it'll get better or worse, depending on your personal take on this, any time soon)

A tank's muzzle flash on daylight is hard to see sometimes. You blink you miss it.

Edit: Better?

Even? I would say it's far more likely to spot it at night, or other low light situations.

Console has it. It makes blind firing 10X easier. Even if they don't hit you. That and then have night battles and tracers that show even if you are not spotted. So hiding in a bush that lights up with a glowing tracer coming out of it.... not ideal considering how the rest of the game is built up. It's why I hate the console version.

Considering the ammount of bushes we have now, adding back tracers can just improve gameplay.

I'm more annoyed by how quickly the smoke disappears after the gun is fired. I prefer the old effects.

Yes and the muzzle break which sits at the end of the barrel also displaces a lot of the Muzzle flash and recoil as well,

But, no its not realistic, its an arcade style sim type thing.
