It's not half bad!

I must admit when I first saw the stats i was very unsure about the tank. Gun handling is good, but it's not the fastest tank, and in this meta needing to relocate in a medium tank is vital.

Here's QB's review if you're interested.

I've only played four games with it so far, but managed 100% winrate and 1384 average damage with an ace tanker as well.

The turret is bouncy and you actually can poke ridges a lot more than I expected. You can really bounce tier fives and sixes, a lot of sevens, then some eights and I even bounced a VK 45.02B in the ace game.

On top of this tier seven is one of the better tiers in 3/5/7, and you can make reasonable credits in it, so overall pretty good IMHO.

i second this and the 3-5-7 mm and the excessive powercreep. even putting that aside the tank is way overpriced.

LRS keep in mind that every tank seems to be good when you first get it.

Both pen stats aren't really something to write home about but more than enough against most tier 5-7. You seem to be trading armor for mobility and speed, 250hp and lose a lot of pen compared to the tier 8 T25 Pilot. It's basically a down tiered T25 with better armor. It doesn't meet tier 10 but there are more than enough tier 9s that aren't fazed by a tank like that.

I'm not saying it's a brilliant tank. I'm saying it's better than I expected. If medium tanks are your thing and it fits your garage and crews then given it's tier seven i think it's a reasonable purchase. You're not cannon fodder for tier X's which is what Skill misses out when he says going for a tier VIII is preferable. That said the Thunderbolt is just under half the price and comes with a 100% BIA crew, but my four skill Patton crew do me fine so I didn't buy it for crews.

I play more tier seven to relax because it's more of a sweet spot in 3/5/7. If they'd released a new US tier VIII premium then I'd say pass.

All I'm saying for this one, is if like me you thought "nah, it's just not quite there", then it turned out better than I expected.

Tier 9 is better than seven for sure, but I feel that with all the eights getting dragged into 3/5/7 games to make MM stack up for X/IX tanks it takes the edge off tier 7 and makes it more playable tier for tier than eights.

I'm not saying this is the new Bobject by a mile. but if you were sat on the fence to buy it then it's maybe worth a punt.

If you can't even see the fence then it's not something you'll regret missing. But if this is another trend of WG releasing premium tanks that are OK but not OP then it's maybe a good sign.....

Who am I kidding!

T9 is the real Pref MM tier...

I enjoyed my T54E1 on the way to the T57 and currently enjoying my T-54 with the 219 pen gun. May T9 continue to have the best MM as T8s and T10s feed it.

Oh and Eagle 7? Not for me, I plan to Patton one day but I'll play through the T20. I've got enough T7 keepers/Prems already and this one doesn't seem to add much more to the mix.

Yeah that guy is terrible.

I also heard that WG is paying the admins of wot-life , noobmeter and wotlabs to bill QB as a 3500 wn8 player when in fact he is only a 1200 wn8 player.

Terrible player and terrible content.

Also he is clearly paid by WG to force us buy useless tanks.

QB said on his review of T34-3 that its 10 times better than the Type 59 and that its the best tank tier for tier and that it gets tier 5 mm.

What a guy.

Want them to get a working armour model on tanks.gg etc, before I consider it, also the hp/ton is worrying low, it looks very sluggish.

Rest of the tank seems ok.
